Well done, scammer!

First, let me congratulate the fine folks at Fenix Protect for the 100% technically true but massively misleading language used in their most recent marketing scam letter. Presumably, they hope to convince the recipient that their homeowners' insurance is about to "lapse" and relying on the fact that most don't know the difference between home owners' insurance and a home warranty. Their "FINAL NOTICE" is obviously an attempt to scare or con the unwitting into purchasing their undoubtedly worthless product. The letter's formatting, fake "FORM" number, fake bar code, fake "Penalty for Private Use $300," fake deadlines, fake everything, all designed to prey on those who might be tricked, is really magnificent in its incredible sliminess. The only accurate thing about it is your name and address, clearly farmed from your local county land records. But, I guess that must be sufficient to fool enough folks to warrant the minimal postage necessary to send these missives and to pay the sad, commission-based losers who answer the phone and talk grandma into sending them a few bucks. You all must be really proud.

"Home warranty" scam

They sent us a letter "regarding the property's home warranty at [our address], secured by **CONVENTIONAL HOME LENDER - PLEASE CALL TO VERIFY** ... Based on your mortgage lender's requirements for your current loan, you may be required to have a home warranty in place at all times to stay in compliance." Sounds important, right? Wrong. This is 100% a scam: We bought the home 10+ years ago in a cash transaction. There is no "mortgage lender". There is no "home warranty". There is no "conventional home lender". All of this is complete BS in an attempt to scare us into falling for a scam.

SCAM

Not a customer but a recipient of the Fenix Protect scam letter. Their letters indicate that your current home warranty is expired or will expire and you need to call them because your lender may require a warranty. Complete bullshit. Companies like this should not be allowed to exist utilizing fraudulent and questionable tactics. Oh but they’ll enjoy protection from prices of shit like Donald Trump and his fucknuts.

A charge for $169 showed up on my…

A charge for $169 showed up on my credit union register that did not identify the company, it just said protection plan. I called the phone number on the register and talked to a rude woman, I asked the name of the company and she wouldn’t tell me, I told her I had not purchased a protection plan, and she argued that I called them to set up the policy. I had not, she finally told me it was fenix. I told her that I’d never heard of that company and asked how I could have called them if I didn’t know who they were. She was very rude. I told her to cancel the policy a, and she said she had. Got a call today saying I was delinquent on my payments, I wasn’t, they said I had to pay today. Told them the same thing I had told them on the first call, they said I must have forgotten about it. I had purchased a new car and had a good warranty on it. I told them to cancel the plan, again. They said they did, but we’ll see. Do. Not. Trust. Them.

After reviewing your file and the recorded calls associated with your phone number. You contacted our office on 2/25/2026. You spoke with a Representative let him know you had just purchased the vehicle in December. You agreed to the terms of the policy and authorized the payments to be processed on your account. You also requested the payments to be drafted on the 7th of each month. Your account is cancelled as requested.

Very rude and unprofessional people

Very rude and unprofessional people. The supervisor “Jamie” was very rude and was not willing to give me my down payment back after I requested to cancel my subscription. DO NOT handle business with their company EVER. Terrible customer service. Very aggressive people working there where all they care about is taking your money! Why would anyone want to continue service with this company if that’s how they talk to their customers!? Ridiculous! If I could give 0/5 stars I would !!!!

We will send this file to quality control and address any issues we find. I do show your account was cancelled as requested and the down payment was refunded.

Do not give this company your money!! They will not help you when you need them. They have taken a lot of money from me just for them to not help me cover the exact expenses they said they would help me with. Canceling immediately. What a scam.

Horrible. I had to state 18 times I wanted to cancel. The talking script and phone team are incredibly aggressive and aggravating. So glad I only fell for it for one month. Horrible scheming and marketing tactics, and horrible company.

Deceptive scare tactics

I got an URGENT FINAL NOTICE naming my Lender as if my home warranty was required, saying it was about to expire...(I don't have or ever had) a home warranty. I feel This tactic is only used to scare and confuse people into buying their product, I almost needed a magnafying glass to find their actual name on the FINAL NOTICE! you should ALL be ashamed of yourselves

Received a home warranty notice stating FINAL NOTICE! He stated it was because my home was built in 1988. Started to be suspicious during phone conversation. Don’t like that there is no phone number or address for this “company.” Have home owners insurance. Seems a scam for people to spend more money unnecessarily.
