Best experience ever
This is my 7th time booking with Frank Porter, and once again, it has been a great experience from start to finish. The process is always simple and smooth – easy to book, easy to check in, with everything clearly communicated. This time was particularly special, as I was hosting my father who came for medical treatment. The team was extremely understanding and cooperative with our requests, which meant a lot to us during a sensitive time. I truly appreciate the consistency and professionalism of the service, and I highly recommend Frank Porter to anyone looking for a reliable and accommodating stay in Dubai.

The house is excellent
The house is excellent, very very comfortable, all amenities work very well and are functional. We had no complaints of any sort while staying. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, house was neat and tidy and television functional, internet speed was also good. There was parking for two. Getting in the house was easy, locking was a challenge for us technically challenged. But, we figured it out shortly. Did not take long. While its a short distance from the metro, its not isolated there are grocery shops and restaurants nearby for anything we need. There is a 24 hours cafeteria close by for the late night hungry owls, a pharmacy, a saloon, most of things we would have wanted was around. Having said it all, we had a small delay at the gate security, we presume some administrative challenge where the information had to be passed on to the gate security got delayed. We dont know whose fault it was but nevertheless Frank Porter compensated us very well for that inconvenience. We thank them for that!

Unreliable Service & Misleading Listing
I booked this apartment specifically because it advertised "free parking," which was essential for my business trip. Unfortunately, not once during my entire stay was I able to use the parking due to a non-functional access card. Despite repeated messages, calls, and time wasted dealing with reception and the host, the issue was never resolved. What’s worse, the host kept shifting responsibility between reception, building management, and technical issues, providing contradictory explanations. I was first told it was a barrier problem, then later that the access card was damaged—something the security manager had clearly stated from the beginning. When I requested a meeting with the host’s agent and security to resolve the issue, the host cancelled the meeting last minute without informing me. This lack of transparency and poor coordination was frustrating and completely unprofessional. I lost valuable time every day trying to find parking on the street in a busy area—something I should never have had to do given the listing’s promise. If parking is important to you, I recommend avoiding this listing. The host is unresponsive, unaccountable, and clearly unprepared to handle basic logistics that affect guest comfort.

Prior to your arrival, we ensured all documentation and check-in information were provided in a timely manner. Once the parking issue was reported, we immediately engaged with building management and security to find a solution. At first, we were informed it was a system-related barrier issue, but later, building security confirmed the access card was damaged—something that unfortunately wasn’t apparent at the outset. We understand and truly empathize with how frustrating this must have been, especially given your business commitments. Please know that we did our best to coordinate with all involved parties and kept you updated throughout, although we regret that our efforts did not lead to a timely resolution. The cancellation of the proposed meeting was an internal misstep, and we acknowledge this should have been better communicated. While we’re disappointed that this aspect of your stay did not meet your expectations, we genuinely appreciate your input. It helps us improve our service and ensure better coordination in the future. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a smoother experience should you choose to return.

Frank Porter has a well tune operating system that makes staying at any of his airbnb comparable to a 5 star hotel. Communication was effortless from start to finish, the unit was spotless, and sometimes wondered if he slept because he would answer my questions within 10 minutes no matter what time I texted him* note: check the hours don't be like me. Overall I enjoyed my stayed at Frank's unit.
