They double up the price before pick up

In this particular case, they've found that the shipment was quoted for with an incorrect class. When the correct class is used the pricing is increased, which is why our tariff specialist reached out to you before the pickup to confirm this with you. This is a crucial part of the process that guarantees that you would be aware of any potential issues or additional fees prior to the order being picked up so that you do not have any surprises afterwards. From what we can see, a decision was made to go ahead with this order and it seems there have been no issues once the class was updated to the correct one. Just completed my first order with Freightera. I have done numerous shipments with FreightOS and Exfreight over the years. This was the first time my factory provided shipping to my port and I was responsible for the trucking to my factory. I did not signup for Freightera till the day my shipment got out of customs. It was relatively easy to signup. The only issue was the Wise was not one of the banks that was listed. It was easily sorted out. There was excellent communication throughout and shipment arrived early. For me there was also significant savings compared to using FreightOS or EXfreight.

Order was picked up on April 1st and was onsite the 6th or 7th. As of April 13th it is still not near its detination.

Due to this, we advise reaching out to our team if an order is very time sensitive so that we can monitor it more closely or even recommend different options if necessary. Update: Following my review, the company revisited the situation and provided a solution. I appreciate Ana and the team taking the time to review and work toward a resolution. While the experience itself had significant challenges, it is fair to note that they did follow through in the end. I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with this freight provider involving both service failure and questionable billing practices. For a shipment to Calgary, I explicitly paid for power tailgate service and appointment delivery, both of which were not provided. The delivery was delayed, missed the scheduled window, and arrived without the required equipment. I was forced to arrange a forklift at my own expense to complete the delivery.

They got the shipping address wrong even though the documents were correct.

Freightera is one of the best shipping companies around. We've shipped many hundreds of skids with them over 10+ years. Almost zero errors on their part. They have amazing, responsive staff are super fair when goods are lost or late. Our Broker Nevena is truly amazing. She's helped us out of a pinch on many occasions. It's important to remember when shipping that it's not always the brokers fault, they just contract shipping companies out. There's going to be issues occasionally. A lot of fist time shippers such as those above having tantrums, just don't understand how shipping works.

I see you've already been in contact with our representative who further explained that the issue with this order occurred as the wrong BOL was released to the carrier at the time of pickup, which caused them to attempt the delivery at the wrong location. Unfortunately, the carrier was following the directions on the printed paperwork rather than what was noted in the system, causing issues here. I also see that our team has issued a full refund on this order, as a sign of good faith since we understand how frustrating these issues can be for you.
