I absolutely love it
I absolutely love it, i'm 19yo broke college stundent, and i've been learning trading for the past 3 years but never tried backtesting until i learned about FX Replay, it's great and ''broke people'' friendly, i'll make sure to pay for it once i become proftiable, huge thanks to the dev team.
Bad trade mechanics
Often runs through take profit and doesnt even close the position, also feels super limited for the free users, cannot even trade futures. FX Replay also has no indicators almost. Overall just super buggy and has problems.

Solid replay engine
Solid replay engine, custom indicators need work The core replay is good and the TradingView-based charting feels familiar right away. Multi-timeframe sync works well and skipping weekends speeds up backtesting a lot. The custom indicator system (FXR Script) is a great idea but feels early. Documentation is incomplete — several drawing functions have signatures that don't match the docs, so you find out by trial and error. More importantly, scripts can only read the bars loaded in the current session, which caps historical depth at a few months on higher timeframes. Building monthly levels is impossible, even though the underlying data goes back years. Pine's request.security solves this on TradingView. Still using it, and the fundamentals are there. Would rate higher with deeper data access for custom indicators and better docs
