Don't get cheeky, the thing broke after just 2 month. They want 50$ to replace. Smells terrible

Review: If you are considering buying a Cheeky Inc. mouth guard kit, make sure you buy it exclusively from their official website. I bought a kit on eBay and quickly realized it was missing the mandatory pre-paid shipping label needed to send my completed dental impressions back to the lab.I exchanged at least 8 emails with Cheeky Inc. customer support to get a replacement label. On the eighth email, they told me they do not authorize any sales on eBay. When I asked them what I should do next with the completed kit, they completely ghosted me and stopped replying to my emails. Prospective Buyer Beware: Cheeky Inc. has a major issue with unauthorized sellers distributing their product kits online. If you end up with one of these kits, their customer service will completely abandon you and leave you with an unusable product. Avoid third-party listings entirely, or avoid this company altogether due to their terrible communication.Date of experience: June 2026

I ordered a mouthguard that ended up…

I ordered a mouth guard that ended up being too bulky and hurt my jaw and teeth. They offered to send a new one and shave it down. Was marked as delivered but never showed up in my mail box. Even sent a search request to USPS upon recommendation of Cheeky and all it showed was that it was delivered but I never received it. The USPS will not do anything more about it so I don't know what else to do. 125 bucks down the drain.

The kit was pretty easy

The kit was pretty easy, especially since I have done this in a dentists office a few times and knew what to expect. The wait was the hardest part. There was very little communication about my order status, and I ended up reaching out to support to find out if they actually had my molds and were making my guard. The guard is excellent. It is a very snug fit, like the ones I've gotten from the dentist. It actually hurts to wear for a few nights, until your teeth move back to where they were when you did the mold. Or at least that's how it feels. I have had many over the years, and had the same experience with dentist office ones. As for durability, I have chewed through even the hardest ones I have gotten from the dentist in a years time. MY Insurance only covers one every 2 YEARS. This one has been performing very well so far, and is somehow thinner than the toughest ones I've had. It's actually easier to talk with as well. I've had it a few months now, and I don't know that I'll actually need a new one at the 6 month mark. It's barely roughened where I grind hardest. I might still opt to get a new one, because it's just about $50, and it will be nice to have a fresh one. This service might actually spoil me. But seriously, Cheeky, get some automated messages going out when you move through each phase of the process. I would like to know when you receive my package, when the mold is checked, when my guard is being made, and when it ships. Even more would be fine, and this really seems like something that should "just happen" at every scan/step.

I received someone else’s guard. When I requested another it took forever to ship just to get the same (wrong) guard again.

The process was straightforward. I used drugstore mouth guards for a year. Decided I wanted something better. The price point was great. The product turned out to fit beautifully and I am happy with it. The AI response when I contacted Cheeky were adequate to answer my questions.
