Flex never paid my rent and ended up costing me late fees
I gave Flex the money needed to pay my rent at the beginning of August, and then the middle of August. At the end of the month, I got a notification that my rent hasn't been paid and 145.00 in late fees was added onto my rent. I called Flex, and while they were willing to give back my original rent money, they were not able to tell me why they never paid my rent nor did they care that their mess up ended up costing me more money. They certainly weren't going to help cover the cost of their mistake. Ended my membership right there. Why would I pay them if they're just going to screw me over?

Worst experience ever..... Apartment complex promoted flex, so I utilized the services. In aug 2026 flex took out my 900 pay my rent. They did in July just fine.....
I ended up with over 300 on late fees and almost got evicted.
I am STILL waiting for my refund, and have since ended their services. It is impossible to get a human to answer any questions.
If you want to leave your housing up to AI then flex is for you.....

I recently began using flex and I’m disappointed with the increase in fees. An agreement should be longer than 30 days if it’s reoccurring.

Flex is an awesome option for rent and even other bills if they offer that
Flex is an awesome option and if I had the option I'd put all of my bills on flex it gives me the option to put all of the money in at once or split between two payments and they will work with me on due dates by a long shot

It's extremely helpful to be able to split pay my rent and as long as I set the dates and have the money there it pays my rent with me having to think about it. The second payment is super flexible too I have a wide selection of days I can choose to pay pay the payment. I like it a lot.

It helps me to not forget to pay my rent therefore preventing annoying late fees. On the other hand, it's discouraging to pay almost $20/month for this service.

It’s such a great thing. It helps out a lot. I never knew about it until my management company. I’m here in Charlotte, North Carolina and like I said it’s a wonderful thing. I always paid my rent on time anyway, but I like this.
