ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER FOR TRAVEL AND DAILY LIFE
Years ago I tried a GoLite for SAD, and it worked well—until I fell out of the habit. After that, I only used a standard light box occasionally. When I heard about AYO, I was intrigued. Between gray Chicago winters and the likelihood of spending time in even darker locales, I decided to give it a try.
The convenience alone is a huge win. No worrying about positioning yourself just right in front of a fixed box—just put the glasses on and go about your day.
What truly surprised me, though, was how quickly and effectively it helped adjust my circadian rhythm. With guidance from Alex, the owner of AYO, I was able to shift my sleep schedule in just a few days ahead of a trip to Puerto Rico.
I’m normally a night person, so traveling two hours ahead made the idea of earlier mornings pretty daunting. But after wearing the glasses for a few days before the trip—and continuing during it—I was able to wake up easily before 9 a.m. Puerto Rico time every single day.
That may not sound dramatic to some people, but it’s always been a sticking point with my wife, who’s an early riser. Being able to keep what most people would consider a “normal” schedule was honestly a dream come true.
Even after returning home, I’m still getting up comfortably and promptly before 9 a.m. I can’t emphasize enough how powerful this device is—or how responsive and helpful the company has been. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s absolutely worth every penny. I’m very glad I didn’t try to save money with knockoffs.
What really stood out to me was how accessible and helpful the company has been—having direct, thoughtful guidance made a huge difference.

My initial issue was — I haven't got my order in 20 days. So I couldn't even assess the product itself.
Unfortunately I still don't have ability to check out the product, cause I left my country.
But the way how guys handle my 1-star rating is unbelievable. I have never seen such a level of customer care. Definitely 5-star support. Personally, thanks Alex Dimitrov for being in touch and solve all the issues.

Incredible service and fantastic glasses
I purchased glasses after researching a new sad lamp. These seemed a much better fit for myself with a busy life and ADHD. The app was a huge bonus to help me however I purchased from another retailer and they had been falsely advertised which I didn't realise until I contacted Ayo directly. I had an old model without Bluetooth which is what I ordered. I get extremely overwhelmed with sorting issues and concerns however I can not thank Ayo enough for there support. They were clear and efficient, they identified the issue and explained so I understood and without continuous questioning. I seriously am blown away with the service, they even provided me with the correct model to allow me to use the features I wanted. This has given me such a positive experience and I feel valued as a customer. You do not get this from many companies and I hope Ayo continues, staff should definitely be appreciated.
The glasses come well packaged and presented, case is wonderful and sturdy so I have no doubt of keeping these safe secure and the colour is eye catching so no loosing them 😃. The glasses are well made although they do need charging every few days. Not surprisingly due to small frame, isn't a flaw because noone wants big heavy glasses.
They do definitely work and have improved my mood and sleep pattern. I'm shocked at how well tbh. I did debate the cost but they are 100% worth every penny.
One thing that could be improved is the app. I did find it little confusing to navigate and understand the different modes etc. Also I do night shifts and wish that I could easily update my rhythm between day and night shifts so I can be easily notified when best to wear my glasses. This would be a huge selling point as I genuinely believe it helps me transition between days and nights. This is definitely something Ayo should look into marketing, to increase sales and wellbeing for night workers

This was a (necessary, yet worthy) impulse buy.
I live @61 degrees N. They work great. I love the biohacker mode. Worth getting the lifetime subscription app, imo. Super portable! Three things I would change: 1. Make the case a charging port (so it functions like an AirPod charging case), 2. Shorten the arms (or something) because my side/french braids can obstruct the natural placement and angle of the device, 3. Make the slide out (blue part) on the case more sturdy (I would not be surprised if I accidentally crushed it in my hands one day).

I had a functioning problem with my BLUE LIGHT GLASSES, and the representatives for the company were prompt in responding to the online contact that I made with them. We troubleshot some issues and when those didn’t resolve the problem, they immediately sent me a new pair which I received within two days. I’ve never had this easy and prompt of a service with any company. It even beats AT&T and Apple when you have insurance with those providers. Thank you.

Great tech and design, but the case needs an upgrade
I am very glad this product is on the market. The design is excellent—the glasses are lightweight, comfortable, and stay securely in place, even when I am walking around or exercising.
The functionality is impressive. Bluetooth pairing works flawlessly, and the app is great; I particularly appreciate the ability to customize intensities and session lengths exactly as I wish. My routine is maximum brightness for 20 minutes followed by 3 minutes of red light (a nice addition!), and the charge lasts about 6 days. The USB-C charging is also a big plus and definitely a must-have today. Visibility through the glasses is fine when the lights are on, though it is admittedly hard to see in a dark environment.
My main criticism is regarding the case. For the premium price, I would expect something better. It seems to be the same design as the previous generation (which held a battery), so the space inside feels wasted. It is also difficult to put the glasses in or take them out without slightly twisting them. I would much prefer a case like the Luminette has and will likely buy a third-party one myself.
Regarding the service, shipping to the Czech Republic was decent (5 days, arrived on a Saturday). Customer support has been great to deal with, though I do wish the invoice was sent automatically without me having to ask for it.
Overall, I can't say for certain if the glasses alone are fixing my circadian rhythm as I changed several lifestyle habits at once, but I feel great and I trust the science behind the technology. Despite the issue with the case, this is a high-quality product that I enjoy using.

The glasses design is flawed
The glasses design is flawed. It's very uncomfortable and they use very brittle plastic. Also, for me personally, it doesn't do anything. I notice nothing of the claimed benefits. The science behind it is also shaky btw. Don't waste your time and money on this. There is no substitute for good habits. This "easy" tech fix won't solve your problem.

Great glasses and exceptional customer service
Apart from making great glasses. The customer service team are amazing.
I have CFS and Insomnia and these glasses have been really helpful with increasing my energy and helping me sleep. I wouldn't be without them so when I broke them after a year of using them, I reached out to see if they could repair them and they sent me a new pair free of charge. Now you can't beat that for excellent customer service and I wish all companies were this kind and ethical with their customers because the world would be a much happier and kinder place for it
So AYO would get 10 stars if I had the option to give it to them. They really made my day and reminded me that companies can care about their customers which is a rare but special thing in this day and age

Life changing SAD relief
Seasonal Affective Disorder had been a huge problem in my life for almost 10 years, getting to the point of suicidality as I aged in the gloomy Pacific Northwest. I tried lots of therapies based on older science (10,000 lux cold white light boxes) with little relief, in part because best compliance with those protocols is impractical and uncomfortable.
I researched the more recent (>2005) science of ~480nm cyan, melanopsin, and circadian light in general that led me to Ayo+ as a superior approach. Now entering my second winter of using them 6-7am daily between fall and spring equinoxes, I consider myself virtually cured of SAD, or at least very well managed. I am deeply grateful. I'm doing lots of other things to help, but Ayo is the newest element of my regimen, and the relief was quick and profound.
Ayo themselves don't claim that this is a SAD therapeutic. Why? It's all about regulatory constraints, the high clinical testing burden for claims related to "novel medical devices" like this. But the underlying science is pretty clear, and my results are dramatically convincing. Meanwhile there is a lot of institutional, industrial, and educational inertia behind the earlier, partially outmoded science that keeps Ayo and similar new-school therapeutics sadly obscure.
