Walmart plus has proven to be constantly inconsistant with its delivery service. While not needing to do your own shopping is convenient, having half of your ordered not delivered happens way too often. Add in the items that are not available when its shopped and I question the value of the service. Reporting to Walmart has yet to net any changes, maybe its time for a change.
Decided to give Walmart Plus delivery as i get it theough my credit card. This was the absolute worst delivery service rhat I've ever experienced. My order was being shopped by 3 different delivery drivers and wasnt filled until two of them canceled over a 4 hour period. I would NOT use Wamart delivery! Use any other service you have access to instead. I will NEVER use them again!
I joined Walmart+ what a joke my address and unit number is plain as day last order got a dozen eggs checked em looked ok a few day's later I go to make breakfast all but 1 was busted on the bottom 3 times including today delivered at another apt bld so I got a refund but I canceled my subscription because of incompetent driver's that doesn't care or just wanna put it wherever so I'll go back to pickup at least I have a chance to know if everything is there and no broken eggs
I am disabled with unreliable transportation and have paid for Walmart+ for the past two years because I depend on Walmart.com's grocery delivery service. Until about 4-6 months ago, everything worked well. Since then, every grocery order has been automatically routed to Spark, a third-party company, and every order has had serious problems. Approximately twice per month for months, my orders have contained missing items, ignored substitutions, rotten or overripe produce, partially thawed frozen food, and shopping instructions were not followed. After nearly every delivery, I have spent 1-2 hours contacting Walmart.com for refunds. Although refunds are issued, they do not replace the missing food. Living on a limited income, I must wait for refunds before I can reorder, leaving me without groceries and impacting my medically required diet. My complaint is not about refunds. It is that Walmart.com forces my grocery orders through Spark while giving customers no option to opt out. On my most recent attempt to resolve this, I spent over four hours on six phone calls speaking with nine Walmart.com representatives and supervisors. I was transferred multiple times, one call was disconnected, and every representative told me they could not stop Spark from receiving my orders. My local Walmart store suggested ordering through Uber instead, defeating the purpose of paying for Walmart+. I also attempted to contact Spark but discovered there is no customer support for customers. Walmart.com is responsible for the companies it chooses to fulfill customer orders. If Walmart routes customers to Spark, it should provide a way to opt out when service repeatedly fails. No employee I spoke with could change the routing or connect me with anyone who could. I request Walmart.com allow customers to opt out of Spark deliveries, provide support capable of resolving routing issues & address these repeated service failures, allowing Uber to get our orders, which the local store shops.
They never deliver my groceries on time and my frozen dairy products will have defrosted by the time they make it. 9:27am l received a message that my delivery will arrive by 10:45am, now it's 1:30pm nothing yet, no communication, nothing. And yes this happens every two weeks.
Absolutely ridiculous! Do not get a membership for grocery delivery! 90% of the time even with express you will not receive the groceries at all. After paying the extra 10$ for express also dont expect to receive your groceries. They do not care they just wanna make that money and are 100% unreliable and an unaccountable company. Headache after headache with them. One time ordering from my Walmart membership I got TRAPPED inside of my apartment because the delivery guy put everything against my door! I COUILDNT OPEN THE DOOR more than an inch! I called Walmart panicking that I was trapped inside because there’s a big 45 bottles of water package shoved tightly against my door along with other heavy items. They transferred me around with no concern or compassion.Then the lady said there’s nothing they could do! I said I ordered these groceries from u and got the delivery from you. Still said nothing they could do. My 5 yr old and I are crying and freaking out because we don’t know what to do! Then she suggested to call the fire department!!! After they trapped us in the house no one would even come to help us, jut to move the stuff from the door. W were locked inside for hours until my neighbors got home. Good thing there wasn’t a fire Walmart.i have soooo many complaints about them! So unprofessional,unreliable and lacking general compassion. Horrible business!
I ordered online through Walmart's website several days ago, ordered 06/09/26 and I still haven't received some of my grocery items and I guess it has something to do with my order split in two or three not by choice. Walmart uses a third party delivery called Spark and apparently if your tip is absorbed on the first delivery then that means that leaves no tip left over for the rest of the delivery, so, apparently Spark will pick and choose where the tips remain in other orders. If there is no tip then you don't get it delivered and it gets taken back to the store and Walmart will refund you, and if you're lucky they will be so kind and deliver the rest of your goods, according to the Walmart email I received there was an attempt of delivery however I was home at that time in the front yard doing yard work and I was also expecting an Amazon delivery I did receive my Amazon delivery however I didn't get my Walmart delivery, so basically I witnessed there was no delivery attempt that was a flat out lie on behalf of the Walmart delivery source Spark, nightmare experience, I will never again use WalMart delivery!
I ordered some items from Walmart and they gave me a window to pick From for delivery. My items were supposed to get here today between 8 and 11 am this morning and now they’re telling me delivery is at 8 pm. I haven’t even received the item yet, but that frustrates me especially when I have a project to do and today is a great day to finish it dreadful
Just an FYI for anyone doing online grocery orders with walmart, use a credit card if possible, and try not add additional items after your order's made. I added 3 items I'd forgotten, and ended up with over $1000 in temporary holds for groceries totaling $60. Thank God I was using my cc instead of debit because I'd have been screwed. I actually called the banks fraud department when I saw the purchases on my cc account. They were so much higher than order I didn't even register that was the problem until I looked at the transaction history for that specific order. This is ridiculous because of how badly it could tank someone for the week they're unable to access their money. Not to mention other bills bouncing the mean time. I ended up just canceling the order, so hopefully it all clears off my account soon.
I order from the Walmart delivery service and apparently,,Walmart contracts a third party for deliveries . Twice, I’ve had over 2/3 of my orders missing on delivery and had to put in for a refund. This last time, the driver didn’t deliver most of my order. I’m guessing it went to someone else. I had to call for a refund. Now, because there were so many items missing from that one order in a short period of time…….walmart has flagged my account for too many returns. Returns due to non-delivery is not my fault and my account should not be punished for this. I called Walmart CS and they said to email account review. I sure wish another variety store would come along and give Walmart some competition. Their CS stinks.
Website issue: After ordering groceries to be delivered, it said the Cart was Empty. I reordered and the same thing happened. Reordered and it went through. I got a TRIPLE ORDER ! Also asked for 'light' bags as I'm a senior and lifted it and bag tore because of the weight!!! Called Customer Service 3 times without a result. One guy wanted me to bring them back (on a walker)! This company [along w/ so many others] could improve by simply not outsourcing all customer service when receiving your grocery deliveries. That said, I only gave 2 stars because I have to admit that the convenience was a plus. However, oftentimes, that "convenience" turned into disaster. We've had our deliveries delivered to wrong doors twice ($200-$400-dollar orders) and we've had them just dropped off at the front of a gas station. ? Apparently, I am not the only 1 who's experienced this according to other reviewers. OUR #1 DISAPPOINTMENT: We have been members since 2024 ish and have the ability to notice what we're spending anf exactly the cost per item, per order.....**anything we purchase more than twice, will go up in price significantly. This is something I have reached out to their customer service about and they agreed our prices were increasing more than the usual fluctuation and that I'd hear from someone to come up with an agreed upon solution. I never heard from anyone. I tried again. Same thing, never heard back once escalated. We were paying the annual subscription - supposedly saving half the cost by paying up-front ..the $ gets recovered by Walmart one way or the other. We didnt do enough orders under $35 and rarely used shipping...so, they were just taking advantage of us. It was obvious that we were relying on them for groceries everytime and were probably easy target to increase our prices since we were locked in for a year. The increases, though.... we've placed orders elsewhere for the last 2 or 3 orders and eventhough they are actual local grocery stores & have fees, taxes, delivery fee...we still were saving money versus our paid "free delivery" walmart plus subscription. It was very sad. I also logged out of my wm account, cleared my cache and storage and did not sign back in - just to see if prices were different for NON-WALMARTPLUS customers, they were. At least for us. Any specific item we bought consistently, would go up. For about a year I sat back and observed to be sure it wasn't fluctuation or inflation, but by that point, the evidence was irrefutable. We were paying much more per order. We went from placing 2 orders a month to only being able to place 1 "big"ish one, and even the order screen where it says "You saved a total of ___ on this order using Walmart +" was a fraction of the amount it used to quote us. It used to say $20-30 per order, now it says something like $7-8 dollars an order. No matter what other service we use [instacart, doordash, etc) we saved more the last few months. Thankfully, my current year will end very soon. I doubt there's anything I can do about all that extra money we paid and Walmart's own customer service agreed we paid , but you live n learn. I suggest paying for no more than 1 year. Or doing monthly if you decide to go with them anyway. Your prices will stay the same for about 6 months, then start increasing bc they think you don't notice.
I don't usually leave bad reviews but this one is well deserved Unfortunately my insurance company they have where you get fresh values items and stuff and this is the second month in a row that I've ordered from my insurance company for their fresh values and unfortunately they go through Walmart of course. Walmart has to be one of the most incompetent delivery places there is they'll tell you that your product is on the way after 4 days and then they send you an email because that's the only way they communicate with you that they attempted to deliver it and that they couldn't get into the building which is bull. So it's a fob entry all they have to do is call me when they get here they don't I don't want to sit outside all day waiting for them so they have a phone number to call me as soon as they arrive which they refuse to do so I call my insurance company and ask him what's up. I'm told that their delivery driver had a family emergency and that I would have to reorder my items imagine that. I'm not reordering anything they need to deliver the product They said they were a half hour away and all the sudden it never came what is up with Walmart now when I call back today because they were supposed to deliver today they took my orders split in half is what they did so another box was supposed to come today well I didn't get the one yesterday and they didn't even contact me today so I called my insurance again. Ordered from seller lafuge on walmart.com item shows in transit running late then nothing. Contacted seller twice NO reply and walmart refused to refund my purchase. BEWARE SELLER LAFUGE..It is out of China ( of course not mentioned until I researched) they STOLE MY MONEY and walmart doesn't give a crap.

Driver LaRena left the item outside my delivery address. Its obviously a Mall and the stores were closed on Sunday at 6:22pm. When drivers are made responsible for bad deliveries the reviews will improve. Then you can't claim anything for 48 hours. No wonder amazon is as big as it is!!
The Walmart app is the Worse app ever. You try to order food and there are constant technical problems, so it takes forever for you to order food.if you finally get it to take your order.. then I've ordered items and did not receive them so I had to call the 1 800 number and I have to wait up to 10 business days to receive a refund. They also decide to fed ex an item , so you have to wait the next day to receive your item. Paper plates? Really, the store could not give me paper plates on time. Today it was 4 cans of tuna fish which they decided to fed ex it to me tomorrow. So now I can't have tuna fish today as I planned. I have to wait again for a fed ex delivery. Im done with Walmart food delivery. It's been nothing but problems with Walmart and it's not worth the aggravation.
