Ive been using VueScan for many years now and it has always performed 100% to my expectations. Even in the early days it has always done the job, now with great and wider range of technology it continues to out perform many of the competitors. The upgrades are always there and not asking for payment before you can upgrade. All in all a great user experience.

I bought VueScan on Feb. 25, 2006. In the 20+ years since I have gone through many scanners, many computers, many operating systems, and many network and other connections; but VueScan has always worked. Not only has it worked; it has gotten better, every year. Offhand, I can't think of another product that has served me so well, for so long.
Have been using VueScan for more than 15 years. Have rarely had problems or questions. Support was always quick to help
I am owning a Canon CanoScan 9000F flat-bed scanner that I was going to throw away since Canon did not care to develop a Windows 11 driver for this product (which is performing very well). Thanks to VueScan, its life will be extended for a long period of time. Great product and thanks to a company developping usefull products !

Like many others, we started using VueScan way back after the scanner manufacturer stopped support. Since then, we've never found a scanner VueScan doesn't support. Have recommended it to my friends and colleagues who also found it worked with their cherished kit like the Nikon slide scanner, which Nikon discontinued support over 15 years ago! As long as you buy the Professional Edition, you'll get every update free of charge. Can't think of another company with this noble attitude to their customers
I found VueScan many years ago when I needed an up to date driver for a special nikon negative scanner that Nikon no longer supported. I have stuck with VueScan as my driver / program for all my printers / scanners ever since - the level of control, or by choice the simple choices for great results with equipment that continues the life well beyond the life the manufactures support and doing a better job than the original drivers ever provided

I've been using VueScan for decades; it meets all my expectations—and it continously keeps getting better. And, remarkably, it has kept the same user interface since the very beginning!
The software runs as smoothly with a new HP scanner as with an old Nikon Dia scanner. The user interface is instinctive and detailed. You can scan multiple photos is one time and apply reparation/correction filters. When you scan a multiple page document, you cannot lose your scanning session because the pdf file is saved after each page. I had an issue in the beginning and the on-line assistance was very reactive and found the solution rapidly (it was a cable connection issue ). I warmly recommend VueScan.
Software is amazing, easy to use and powerful. The company keeps the software updated which is critical in todays enviornment.
Superb software from a small development company. AS happens so often, software from a small company beats the big boys hands down. Supports an amazing set of scanners, some so old you can't get drivers for them. Very advanced features if you want to explore
I bought VueScan to keep my still functional but older ScanSnap ix500 talking to my Mac after Fujitsu stopped supporting their product. VueScan's user interface is convoluted, unintuitive and downright aggravating. There's no File/Close operation so previously scanned files linger and interfere with new scans. Even if your scanner can duplex, good luck getting VueScan to pick up the back side of your documents, or following their unhelpful website support. VueScan is priced at a premium level but it repeatedly failed to perform basic scanning tasks. Want to take the risk anyway? Make sure you test it because they'll deny your refund after just 7 days. A much better option is ExactScan, which performed flawlessly and is actually worth the premium price.

I have had a VueScan license for a long time to interface with scanners even after their EOL date by the manufacturer. Recently, I had to reactivate the license (cudos to Hamrick Software that it still works!) to keep my Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M alive, a great piece of scanner that I've had for like 15 years. The original ScanSnap Manager software has not been supported by the manufacturer for quite some time, and with the upcoming macOS 26 "Golden Gate" will cease working due to the obsolescence of Rosetta 2... Configuration was easy, and the scanner works even better than before now due to the greatly enhanced feature set. Overall: don't let you scanner manufacturer force you to get rid of perfectly working hardware, get VueScan instead!
Start Vuescan a couple of years ago and i'am still very satisfied with the program but but also about the service provided
I am using VueScan for my EPSON V850 Pro Scanner for at least 8 years. Excellent results, always up to date, and a real relief after EPSON delayed their software update for new windows versions. Thanks for an excellent product!
The VueScan works great updates comes regularly and is easy to install I use it on a MacMini with a Canon 9000F mark II
