Due to the precise craftsmanship required for crocodile texture, the leather must undergo a high-pressure embossing process to achieve those beautiful, defined scales. This process naturally compresses the leather fibers, making the bag initially stiff and highly structured so it won't lose its shape. It will naturally soften, break in, and become much more supple with regular use.Regarding the musty odor, we apologize for the unpleasant surprise. Because our croco-embossed bags are securely sealed in a box right after crafting to protect them during long-distance transit, moisture can occasionally get trapped, creating a temporary odor. We highly recommend placing the bag in a well-ventilated area for 2-3 days, or adding a sachet inside—this will completely clear the scent and bring out the authentic leather aroma.We want you to love your purchase.
