Although the hours have seem to be reduced during COVID, I still find the staff helpful and friendly. I had made several suggestion, but unsure if any have been implemented. One of main concerns , which I am guessing has been corrected, but my payment notification used to notify my about payment, but I was also sent notifications that was not my unit, thus if automated, I could only question if I was truly get billed for a unit that was not even my unit, plus was my payment going to a unit I was not using. Again, the staff has done fine with services (overall) very good.
Upon my initial visit to secure an online deal, I interfaced with a lovely group of ladies that were friendly, helpful, efficient, safe, and professional. They talked me through the documents, payment and all the necessary and key points of the storage unit. Second to none! Thanks Hawaii Self Storage - Pearl City!

The level of customer service one receives from Liz and her team at this facility is beyond reproach - above and beyond what I was expecting. When I was tasked with looking for a unit that would suit our business needs this was the first stop of 3 options. Manager Liz was efficient, too me on a tour of what was available and was knowledgeable in all aspects. The experience had me cancel the remaining appointments. She leads a team with the same qualities - always so kind, efficient, knowledgeable.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge at certain times of the day but it always seems to work out.

Physical & Financial Consolidation of multiple units
The staff at the Kaimuki Branch Hawaii Self Storage is Awesome!
We have had two storage spaces there for about 10 years, however, we now wanted a single larger space to accommodate everything in one space plus a small office area.
The staff worked closely with us to find the right space for our needs by informing us when one became available.
Then they helped to make this happen in a Financially seamless process!
They applied prorated amounts from the Rental Fees we had already paid for the smaller units, towards the new larger unit as we moved out of each of the smaller units.
Their efforts to coordinate this move and their dedication to customer service is exemplary!
Customer service over email was great, pick-up was not so great
Customer service over email was great, friendly and very helpful. Two men came to pick up my belongings from my dorm to bring it to the storage facility. One man was very nice, polite, helpful and made no complaints in having to carry my things down a staircase (there is no elevator in my building). The other man, though, was very rude, told me (a woman no taller than 5') that it was my responsibility to carry my things down to the lobby and that their only job was to pick things up. He didn't even help the other man carry the boxes down the stairs. He just stood there and sulked. Other than that one rude man, my experience with this company has been nothing but positive. I will say, though, it is very pricey.
This is the best place ever! From the friendly staff to the maintenance of the units.

The employees are all super nice and very helpful. The building is maintained very well and is clean and well lit. Definitely much better than the storage company we were using before we switched to Hawaii Self Storage!
