I would strongly advise anyone considering using Hobbynix to be extremely careful and to check exactly what they are agreeing to before making a payment.
I authorised a payment for a specific amount, but subsequently found that I had been charged additional amounts that I did not knowingly authorise. I also discovered that I had apparently been signed up to a membership that I do not recall agreeing to.
I contacted Hobbynix immediately to request cancellation and a refund. Despite explaining clearly that I had not knowingly agreed to the membership or the additional charges, they initially refused to refund me in full.
I asked them to provide evidence of when and how I had agreed to the membership and recurring payments. Their response was that they were unable to provide the detailed sign-up evidence I requested, while only offering to refund the most recent transaction.
My bank has also been involved and has flagged the transactions as fraudulent.
What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and the difficulty in getting a straightforward resolution. I have now had to spend considerable time trying to resolve charges and a membership that I did not knowingly agree to.
I would urge others to check the terms very carefully and keep a close eye on their bank statements when dealing with Hobbynix.
Emerald was very helpful and they have very good customer service which is always the best for solving problems. I am very proud to say that if anything else happen I would use emerald again.
Do not trust! Start a chargeback and help others with a truthful review!
❗❗ I had never even heard of Hobbynix until I discovered multiple charges on my credit card. I did not intentionally visit or purchase anything from this company. I started on a completely different website, and during the checkout process I was unexpectedly redirected. Only later did I realize that my payment had been processed by Hobbynix and that I had been enrolled in a membership I never knowingly intended to join.
When I contacted customer support, my refund was initially refused. Later, I was told that the refund would only be processed after I left a 4- or 5-star Trustpilot review. I found this completely unacceptable.
At that point, I contacted my bank and initiated a chargeback. The charges were eventually refunded, but only after a great deal of unnecessary stress.
I can't help but wonder how many of the 5-star reviews were written by customers who, like me, were asked to leave a positive review in order to receive their refund.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious❗ ❗ ❗
Charged us a membership we didn't want. We ordered an item then was taken to hobbynix which they then charged me for a subscription I never wanted, we didn't even know about this subscription until we received an email saying 'Thankyou for you subscription'. Got in touch with hobbynix telling them I never agreed to it as I just ordered an item. They told us we hadn't ordered anything but we subscribed to their membership costing £55 plus £6 per month, they also took £6 from my account then tried again to take another. They said we could receive a refund but not until we gave them a 4* review on trustpilot, I told them no review until I received my refund. They still told me I couldn't get anything back until I gave a 4* review, so that's what I did. I have my refund back now so this is my honest review, hobbynix are very unprofessional and total scammers, beware.
I don't know how it's activated and my money got debited and I sincerely request that please cancel my subscriptions and never debit any amount from my account and give me my refunds as soon as possible.

After ordering something from this company I never received any correspondence to let me know that my order was on the way instead I was given a gold membership which I didn't understand. Emerald, thankyou
Hobbynix is an absolute scam . They pretend to be other superior household companies, also have your very personal details and this is where you fall for the scam.
My personal experience was they pretended to be Rituals showing me a gift set ! When you ‘ think ‘ you have purchased the gift set , they are so slick with their fraud / deception the website quickly
signs you up to their subscription/ membership. I have been going back and forth with Hobbynix, I have also informed them I shall be contacting my bank also the police .
I cannot reiterate enough to stay away from this company.
I ordered a mini fridge on hobbynix or at least that’s what I thought but after emailing hobbynix asking for confirmation they said I had not placed a order but my bank account was showing money pending to hobbynix and also there was a recurring card payment of £17.20 which I never agreed to
