Utterly useless. I import a .dwg file and it cant work out whats a wall Clunlky to use. Doesnt have most european designed furniture for layouts. just useless i regret wsting a months subs on it and then to cancel is a whole forced process of feedback
It's a memory hog... Just designing after an hour I hover the mouse pointer over the Chrome tab and notice the counter shows 1.9Gb RAM... an hour later it now reads 3.8Gb RAM and for each hour we continue it keeps going up by 1.9Gb.
Plus Chrome itself is a memory hog so even with more than 8Gb RAM, after an hour, your computer would slow down and eventually crash. Luckily I have 16Gb but I can only go for 3 hours max where it freezes and crashes.
To me it's a tool to help me visual my design concepts. But it's highly flawed and they refuse to fix anything. There isn't even a button we can hit to report problems. I've had to contact them through Facebook to report problems which they only reply with a standard, "yes thank-you blah-blah-blah" but nothing gets fixed and their solution to the literally hundreds of bugs is to release a subscription model for those bugs?
Many of their tools don't make sense much like their hundreds of models of items which practically all look the same only some tiny detail changed like the hardware. Because I believe they've written their platform in the HTML5 and or Javascript coding instead of fixing stuff, all they do is patch. And for those of us who know of such stuff. The more patching they do the bigger the footprint it will have. Thus why we get the 1.9Gb memory hog per hour.
Part of the dozens of items they have problems with is simple things like counter heights are standard in most countries yet theirs seem to fluctuate between 27 and 35 inches. Not quite 36" for North American standards.
And like why give us a sink option if by putting the sink on the countertop it is ON the countertop and not in the countertop. Meaning we have to edit and pull the sink down into the counter. Or how about wall cabinets which FALL to the floor. We paste a wall cabinet on the wall but it falls to the floor. So now we have to remove the base cabinet to raise the wall cabinet back up, then put the base back in place. How st*pid is that? It's like they are mimicking real life by making us move items out of the way to install and put things back.
Or how about moving an interior wall will sometimes flash the pop-up telling us about textures when all we want to do is move the wall and not paint it.
How about the house sized pieces of furniture. Or the bathroom vanity that is the size of a fridge? How about when putting the vent hood over the stove, it defaults to the floor above... That and more really d*mb things they won't fix, yet expect us to pay for it while they fix it. The laughable pieces of furniture are those they have all the wrong dimensions. I don't recall a Luxury sports car only being 48 inches wide and 66 inches long by 18 inches tall. While other times some car have their actual factory reported dimensions, but that is rare. SO NO THANKS... I'm not going to pay for something you refuse to fix!!!
P.s. and I ignore their add floors. I think of the workspace as a drafting table and I design all floors side by side as if looking at a showroom model house floor plans.
Intuitive design experience yet strong customization as well
Been using the Homestyler web platform for a while, and I have to say I’m really impressed! It’s super easy to start, but what I love most is how customizable it is. You can upload your own 3D models and even do some modeling right in the software, just like in SketchUp—which is something most similar software just can’t offer. It has definitely saved me a ton of time. The only downside is that sometimes when projects get a bit too complex, it can lag a little…
Recently, I’ve started checking out the amazing work from app users in the community. I initially thought the app would be more of a dollhouse game, but I was surprised to find so many people creating really impressive and complicated projects. So, I’ve decided to give it a try myself! Can’t wait to share my thoughts later!!
This app resembles something words cannot describe. When I try to do any function in this app, it doesn't work. After enough time, I get so aggravated that I would rather tear all my hair out and then, one by one, sew it back into my head. If this app is recommended to you in the future, you might as well take it as if they told you to ruin your life.

Difficult to unsubscribe. Styler plan dont have stairs/ floors. I even wanted to upgrade to better plan but when i canceled styler plan the price of others went up. Dont Recomend I feel scamed.
i liked that it was in browser but, it didnt alow to do anything i couldnt put any good stuff that looked interesting i just wanted to have fun but it turned out to be not the greatest experience with adds about its pro subscription comming up every second and i couldnt even add floors
Unfortunatley this company states they have a Mysubscription web page. This is not the case and so if you sign up for the free trail and provide the REQUIRED card details you are then charged. No invoice is sent and it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the subscription.
I totally love the PC version of Homestyler! It’s made my life as an interior designer so much easier. I also gave their app a shot, and it felt like I was playing a game while decorating my home—it’s pretty fun!
What I really enjoy are the weekly design challenges. There are so many inspiring designs from other users, and it always gets my creative juices flowing. And can we talk about the price? It’s super cheap compared to other tools like SketchUp and Revit.
Overall, I definitely recommend giving Homestyler a try if you’re into interior design!
Outstanding software to sketch your house. You can get it exactly as you want it and the tool contains a lot of detailed options and a great library for your furniture, kitchen, floor etc. However, the library needs an update or at least and update for modern European style. The software allows for different export and is easy to use. And finally, it is add-free – how about that.
