I sent my Huawei P30 mobile phone for…

I sent my Huawei P30 mobile phone for repair on the 7th May and its been nearly 2 weeks since I had sent it off, and I am still waiting for it to be repaired. They haven't got the part, which apparently comes from abroad and are blaming brexit for the delay in the delivery, which doesn't make any sense. I have been without a device now for 12 days and encounting and Huawei won't do anything to help me. I have to chase them everyday for an update and never get updated. Shockingly bad service

Just a box with nice screen.

Just a box with nice screen. Not worth a half of the money without Google services. Not recommend to anyone who wants to use hauvei devices. Think twice Do your own research If you think you don't need Google services on android devices your are wrong. Stay away from devices without access to Google services. Don't make my mistakes. Don't struggle find ways around Not worth half of the money they ask for their devices

Do not buy from these jokers

The worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with! Spent £1000 on a phone only for it to develop a fault after a few months, sent it for repair under warranty and 6 months later I still don't have it back. They promise callbacks that never come and I feel like they have stolen £1000 from me. Don't waste your money with these fools.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, will take your money, then leave you to dry. Customer services are incompetent, it took four calls to various people to arrange collection, ( as their system, will not email business emails) Joke, so had to have labels to my sent to my wifes personal email. Phone was sent to a third party, who have informed me my camera has a scratch, on it and needs repair, I informed Huwaei, that the problem is the speaker and the operator was rude and aggressive , then informed me, they would not repair the speaker with out the camera repair. ( nothing wrong with camera)

Received my Huawei scales but was unable to connect to device. Rang customer services. The phone was answered immediately and I was dealt with by Tony who was helpful, patient and courteous. A return of item was arranged immediately. I subsequently discovered the issue was the Google play store doesn't have the updated ap. Got the return cancelled. Only my experience with Honda has matched this level. Excellent

Great experience and Customer Care

Great experience and Customer Care. No problem with returns or refunds. After sales department is very helpful and trying to solve issues and answer questions asap. I can recommend this company and their products. Very happy Matebook 14 user :)

Made worst mistake of my life buying a matebook 13 and now the laptop has microphone issues where people don't hear me very well in meetings. Also, the battery barely last 2 hours from full charge. Shocking, ridiculous and disappointed. Joke of a company and because its over 30 days, they cannot replace or refund my money despite the fact that the laptop is obviously faulty and useless.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL... PLEASE READ

I wrote a review about these awful people a little while ago. Let me give any new readers a thumbnail sketch....,. Last December I bought a lovely watch directly from Huawei, and it came with an offer of a free gift of a mini speaker. In my opinion.... RIP OFF No.1 You do not get the free gift with the purchase, you have to apply 14 days after purchase. Now you are outside distance selling regulations, so you cannot return the watch. RIP OFF No.2 You then have to wait a further 7 days to apply for the free gift, and by now, you have no chance of getting it. I spent approximately 14 hours on the phone to theses awful, awful people, asking to speak to a manager. Every time I was told that a manager was not available and my complaint would be investigated. Eventually in frustration after several weeks I issued summons in the Small Claims Court for breach of contract, and reported Huawei to Trading Standards. Then I noticed if I phoned my call was immediately terminated. If I withheld me number, I could get through. Each time I asked to speak to a manager to avoid legal action I was cut off. It transpired that staff were instructed not to communicate with me. Instead of receiving a call from a manager, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ONE OF THEIR SOLICITORS. Allow me state for the record that this man was very polite, friendly and amicable, but it must show the depth this awful company will stoop to, when you are prohibited from speaking to a manager, and all callbacks ignored, but a solicitor from their legal department is the first point of contact. SHAMEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Again, lovely though the solicitor was, I am of the opinion that this tactic was used to intimidate me and probably most people would give in immediately. Again in my opinion BULLYBOY TACTICS! Anyway, and agreement was drawn up and when it arrived, I found that they had inserted a gagging clause, which I rejected and refused to sign. So, in summary, do yourself a favour, and stay very, very clear of this company.

If you want reliable GPS, dont buy this watch.

Purchased a Band 4 Pro (previously having used a Band 2 Pro) and Ive had problems with the GPS on this watch since purchase. It sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, each time Huawei suggest a series of resets, reboots, re-pairing etc but it seems totally random as to what works. Updating software doesnt resolve the issue either. The GPS will randomly lag behind by typically 25-30% (I know this as I do the same two distance runs regularly) so it demoralising to know halfway through the first KM that the watch isnt tracking you properly. The watch itself is nice enough but most people will buy this for is GPS which is very flawed.

My brother who is more technology…

My brother who is more technology minded recommended a Huawei Matebook X Pro with 1TB memory. It was priced at £1,199.99 ( £1,200 then) and came with a free gift of a speaker thing worth £300. I didn’t really care about that , just wanted the laptop. For some reason if I chose the green version it was £700 more - wow! I had no idea coloured plastics were so expensive. Anyway I followed the link my brother sent me and went through the form and went to pay and was told there was something wrong with my card and I needed to contact my bank or card provider. I assumed my card company had blocked an expensive purchase as it was out of my normal spending pattern. I rang this company and was told they hadn’t blocked it and no attempted transaction was showing. Weird? I went back to website and filled it all in again and got same result. So then I phoned the website customer support. I was told that quit a few people were having problems and I because I had tried several times before ringing them, my card was now blocked and I should try in 48hrs and it should work . Irritating but things do happen. I tried again over 48hrs later just to be sure it was enough time to clear. Same result. I rang again and was told that unfortunately I would now be blocked forever and so would never be able to buy anything from their website and what I should do is get a friend to buy it and have it delivered to them. Are you for real? A website shop that doesn’t want to sell things? This is a technologies company that should be able to work this glitch out. I hang up . I tell my Brother and he slates them on Twitter and quickly gets contacted to say if I ring again all will be sorted out . I ring again and tell them the story again . She said ah well you need to wait 48hrs before trying again and clear your history and preferably use another card . I don’t have more than one card which I only use for purchases like this. ( I should say I’d tried my debit card too and it didn’t work either) so I wait a week. I clear my history . Guess what? Yes, it didn’t work . I ring again , tell the story again , am put on hold while he consults the web people or goes for a coffee break , they only have one song and it goes round and round . He returns and tells me that he has consulted the web people and they said there is nothing they can do . You can not buy anything from our website , ever! I’m beginning to wonder if they have a list of responses , because I’ve had this one before and the 48hr one more than once and am still no nearer to buying a laptop. My Brother offered to order it and use my address as delivery . He said the offer has changed from a free £300 speaker to a cheap as chips free mouse . I already have a mouse so that’s of no interest, but I say , look I don’t care about the free things , the laptop is the priority. He tried and it was denied . A friend tried to buy one using her address as a delivery , denied. She tried three different credit cards - all denied. So it seems they are denying thousands of pounds worth of sales and are quite happy to do so . Judging by the other reviews I’ve read I wouldn’t have got the free gift anyway. The customer service gives you no solutions apart from you can’t buy our products from our website. Even saying ok , I’ll buy another companies products doesn’t shake them into offering anything . They didn’t even suggest buying their products from Amazon or another outlet. But it’s not the poor sods on the phones fault , they just get all the flack . It’s the company that is clearly at fault. I’ve never been in a web shop that goes out of its way NOT to sell you anything. Just beyond useless. I assume that the after care support would also be found lacking, which puts me right off buying their products however highly they came recommended.

No happy huawei customer experience

No happy huawei customer experience, I ask before to huawei UK customer service information regarding a huawei watch gt2 pro, and saz yes you have headphones, but surpise my device received don't have: headphones, powe charger battery, and have just one single and horrible cheap silicone strap, cheap and no serious chiness company this is was my first time experience and the last one experience, I don't recommend!!

Wost of all in my life …

Honestly I'm just an average person but I do experience some other brand of phone and for me this phone is the worst Huawei Y6p it the worst but I don't have choice im Just an average person Hope you fix this kind a problem Google service for me is the most important in android devices

Horrible service

Bought a laptop and happened to have bright spots on the screen that looks horrendous, but the service agents from huawei was laughable as they basically are useless. I would never buy anything from that brand anymore. My advice is, dont bother because it is really bad.

Worse online order ever.

I was trying to order Watch online. And was getting the message that payment is declined by my bank. I used differnet cards form different banks. I even used different browsers and differnet platforms (PC, Phone Android, Phone iOS) without any success. I called bank, and they confirmed, that there was no any transactions attempts, so payment wasnt reject by banks. Then I called support Center and I got advice, that I need to call my friend and ask him to order watch to his address, and when he will get the watch, he will just resend it back to me. Seriously? WHo will pay for postage? The company is complete crap as well as advice from customer support center. They do not care about their existing, neither future customers. Avoid it if you can.

Refusal to accept responsibility for faulty goods.

The Huawei matepad pro continually freezes from day one. Bought from Lewis who want nothing to do with it after numerous phone calls. John Lewis gave me Huawei repair centre address so I sent it off to them. It was returned with the same fault. John Lewis still refused to change or refund the item and demanded an engineers report. Huawei supplied me with one and it was clear that no work had been carried out ! Why couldn't it be fixed ? Later they offered to supply a second made up report...???? Having been totally worn down presenting my case and quoting consumer law without any success I've placed the matter in the hands of my credit card company to help me an will pursue my rights through the courts if need be.

Very poor customer service and buying experience.

Much the same as everyone else's experiences on here except I couldn't even pay for my product as their site for some reason doesn't accept Halifax debit cards as valid payment! Customer services was useless so bought the machine from the online Comet store instead which means I had to miss out on the free gifts which judging by everyone else's experience I wouldn't have received anyway. Shame because the laptop is good. In compensation they offered me 5% off any purchase from their website .... I mean, is that a joke??

Not to be Trusted

After over 10 different correspondence with various customer services personnel, I have concluded that while some of the people care, the policy makers and management simply DON'T. I urge you to avoid the appealing offers and promotions. I bought a laptop with the promise of 2 free gifts - a watch and a pair of headphones. Fair enough. If you spend nearly £900 on an i7 2020 laptop. Promptly realised they did not send the gifts. 1st rep says just go to promotion page and claim. Next rep says, don't need to claim. Should be sent automatically. Next rep, says we realise error from ecommerce team. They will get back to you. Never did hear from them. 2 more calls. Wait a bit longer for a resolution. Final call today. Told won't get the gifts as they have run out. Yet website still promises new orders that they have free gifts with their purchase of the exact same laptop I brought. Conclusion - they lie!

Mate 20 pro Green Line

Mate20 pro Phone developed a green line down the screen shortly before the warrenty expired. Was asked to make conatct with the UK repair centre who its seems were closed due to Covid restrictions. 3+ months on and still no contact, if reliability and customer service are important, stick to Samsung. Was a big fan of Huawei now I feel this company should be investigated by trading standards failing to honour guarantees.
