We ordered a desk- and it was shipped nearly immediately, and we arrived it very quickly (same week). The desk arrived and had a bit of damage to the box, and some damage to the desk itself. We were able to find the request channel to report damage, and a VERY POLITE and EFFECTIVE customer service rep helped shepherd us through the process. Ultimately, they offered a reasonable resolution, and we were able to close it out quickly. The desk itself is about as expected - the fit and finish is good (not great), and the assembly was simple and quick. There are some strange quirks - for instance - the drawer only goes about 1/3 of the way back, leaving a lot of empty space behind it that could have been used for storage one way or another. The "paper holder" storage on the leg is more functional than I expected, and it projects a simple elegance. Overall, I would recommend this - it is a good value for the price, and it looks nice in the room. The most important part is the cable management and device storage components. It's very cleverly designed to limit wires, cables, and clutter - it is far superior to most other options we've seen. The standing desk spring is much more functional and the gentle close has a very high-level feel.

Great customer service support and response. You email with a real person, not a chatbot. Very helpful all along the way. The desk is wonderful quality, very heavy. This is not IKEA furniture. I would recommend to others. If you have issues lifting, I would recommend paying the extra amount to get it inside our house, or just assemble it for you.

The office desk is beautiful, adjusts easily to the height I want, and all parts of it work well and smoothly. Great quality. The delivery driver dropped it 3 ft to the ground from her truck and it was still undamaged. Excellent packing! Takes 2 people to put together but wasn’t a problem. I love it! Now to find the perfect chair…

Both items were received damaged. One we were able to manage to put together. The other one had much larger damage and needs to be returned/replaced. The process of getting an authorization to return the product has been frustratingly challenging. We only removed one piece out of the box to find that it was damaged and did not take out all of the parts. We took a photo of the damaged piece before putting it back in the box and sealing back up. When requesting a return authorization, we are being told that we need to provide more photos and a video. If we do not, we will only get a fractional refund of $78 rather than a full refund of $365.

*update* I added a star to the review because Hulala’s customer service reached out quickly to me and helped address the issue. I’m very happy with their customer service! —- Delivery was not good The delivery driver let the very heavy box fall to the ground from the high clearance truck (about 5 feet). Then he sat on my porch for about 15 minutes on the phone, speaking in a different language. It was not a good delivery experience. And once I put the desk together, I saw some damage to the desk top that must have occurred when the box was dropped. Super disappointing when I spent so much money on this desk.

We love the dining chairs we purchased from them but one of them had some cosmetic defects. I was put in touch with them through Home Depot (where we ordered) and they quickly resolved the issue and sent a replacement!

What a wonderful cabinet! I have a very small kitchen and needed to upgrade the storage cabinet that I've had for several years. The one I bought from Hulala is a beautiful, real wood cabinet with sliding doors. It's very sturdy, the doors roll smoothly and it's a gorgeous piece of furniture. The price was great, shipping was fast and communication was top notch, I would not hesitate buying from them again. I love this cabinet!

*Edited and upgraded to 3 stars due to customer service response after my original review. While I stand by the below warning about the chair quality control issues, customer service has been very accommodating and has reimbursed my handyman costs now. They seem to be actively working to resolve the issues and certainly wanted to be sure I was happy as their customer and it was much appreciated. The chairs were impossibly difficult to put together because of manufacturing issues. We had to hire 2 handymen who gave up because of the poor alignment and poor construction of the chairs. Hulala sent us 2 replacements, 1 of which we could put together, but the other one had a faulty bolt/receptor issue and we couldn’t ever put that one together. Out of 8 total chairs they sent, 6 could be put together, but those 6 took weeks- yes weeks to put together. Hulala asked me to hire a professional to “prove” that there was something wrong with the chairs and so I did x2. I spend my own money to hire folks and after all was said and done, Hulala did reimburse me $200. I don’t think that was nearly enough considering the struggle, time and and energy (and money!) we spent on these. The customer service was nice to deal with as well as responsive.
