Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the website is fast, intuitive, and extremely easy to use for extracting precise color codes. People truly love that they can easily upload images and instantly get exact hex, RGB, and HSL values without ever needing to create an account. Some reviewers were not happy with the recent website updates, noting that the new interface can feel laggy or difficult to navigate. Reviewers also pointed out that an increase in intrusive full-screen advertisements and unexpected sign-up prompts can sometimes disrupt their daily creative workflow.

Does exactly what it claims, simply, and well. I use this app many times a week to find the right hex code for pictures I take in nature. It helps me create the right color pallet for my designs.
Happy to help!
So many ads and the image resolution is reduced
Hi maenn, we understand ads can be frustrating. We now offer an ad-free Pro plan if that helps. Thanks for the feedback!
The high amount of ad pop ups on this site slows everything down significantly. Its a good concept if you get rid/minimize of those ads. I gave up looking at your features because of the ads.

great help, would recamend
Thank you so much, Sunny! Really glad it was helpful 🎨
Works at a pixel perfect level. Many options to save your pallete. No junk - ads, pop-ups etc. Only online color picker I need. Cheers!
Thanks Casey, that means a lot! Happy to be the only one you need. 🎨
Forces you to sign up. You're supposed to be able to upload an image and then get the color or see the palette. I did that, then when I went to download palette, I was forced to sign up. Then after doing that my image and palette are no longer on the screen, just the site's truck image again. This is wasting people's time instead of providing a useful tool to do something quick.
Hi Deb, sorry to hear about your frustration — the palette download is a Pro feature, but your image and palette should definitely not disappear after signing up. Please reach out to [email protected] so we can look into that issue for you!
Thanks so much, Yabez! Glad you're enjoying it! 🎨
So for years I used this website whenever I needed to pick a specific color from an image, mostly for theme things on discord or amino (god rest it's soul.), and I tried using it today and because they changed the image I changed the search cause to see if this website was still up, because this has been the undeniable best user experience I've received on a website of just, click click click ctrl c, done. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 and not a 5 is that the site is littered with ads now compared to the maybe one I'd get before. I get it, the bills are high, but intrusive full screen ads break the user experience way more than scrolling down and having a segment be for an ad or just a simple banner ad. Love the site to the point I'm loyal to it, but full page ads ain't it big dawg.
Thanks for sticking with us all these years, Meme! We hear you on the ads — if you want the clean experience back, check out our Paid Plan for an completely ad-free version. 🙌
Works well and is fast. It seems to be working entirely in the browser without uploading the image to a server. I really like that.
Thank you! You're right — everything runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device. Privacy and speed are core to what we do!
easy to use and have a great intuitive ui. Best for getting colors in screen shoted picture. I primarily used it in web dev.

Copy past image into picker, then just select color - nice and fast!
Thank you! Quick and easy — that's what we're all about. Glad the copy-paste feature works well for you!
this was very easy to use ; all I had to do was upload an image, and move the cursor to the section where I needed info about the color, and the info for HEX, RGB, and HSL were displayed almost immediately
Thank you! That's exactly the experience we're going for — upload, point, and get your color codes instantly. Glad it worked so well for you!
