Our experience with Inca Expert Travel was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized, seamless, and thoughtfully planned.
A special thank you to our travel advisor, Melissa Schenk, who went above and beyond to customize our experience. She was incredibly patient, responsive, and took the time to answer all of my questions in depth, ensuring every detail was thoughtfully considered. Her care and attention made the entire planning process easy and enjoyable.
Our first guide, Alexandra was truly exceptional—without a doubt the best guide we’ve had in all our travels. Her warmth, kindness, deep knowledge, and incredible storytelling brought Peru to life as we explored Chinchero, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, the Sacred Valley, and Cusco. She didn’t just share history; she helped us connect with the culture and heart of Peru.
Our Machu Picchu guide, Rodrigo, was equally outstanding. He shared the same qualities of warmth, patience, passion, and incredible knowledge, making our visit to this extraordinary place even more meaningful. His storytelling and insights helped us appreciate the history and significance of Machu Picchu in a truly special way.
We are so grateful for the unforgettable memories created and highly recommend Inca Expert Travel to anyone looking for a personalized, well-organized, and truly exceptional Peru experience.
Inca Expert was phenomenal! They helped up plan our entire trip from start to finish for 2 weeks in South America. Everything was perfectly smooth and all our guides were amazing, drivers were prompt, hotels were great and the food was excellent and all excursions were remarkable. The company sent people to the airports to meet us and help us with our boarding passes and luggage and everything was so perfect. Thank you Inca Expert! I would highly recommend using them.

A strong itinerary with too many last-minute changes
The itinerary covered the main places we wanted to see, and some guides were excellent. However, several details changed close to the travel date, and communication about those changes was not always clear. This created unnecessary stress around transportation and meeting times. The trip was still enjoyable overall, but the planning should have been more stable and the updates more organized.

A flawless extraordinary trip
Amazing amazing amazing! We worked with Grecia Fuentes to put our Peru trip together. From the beginning, she was super responsive to any questions and any adjustments we wanted to make to the itinerary. Everything was extremely smooth--drivers and guides met us when expected, and accommodations were absolutely wonderful. One of the most impressive things for us was the quality of the guides. Alexandra, our guide in Cusco and through the Sacred Valley shared so much information about the history and archaeology, plus gave us some of her own personal insights into the culture, sharing with us her family's food practices, experiences with her grandfather and grandmother, and things she particularly loved about where we were visiting. In our tour of Lima, our guide had so much information about what we were seeing, and we were super impressed that she had also worked in all the museums so that she could gain all the knowledge to share with others. We would absolutely use this company again if we do more travel in South America.

Peru is a must see an Inca travel provides great service
We very much enjoyed our vacation and all the services that Inca Expert Travel provided for us in Peru. All of the guides were very professional and kind. All of the drivers were punctual. There was always someone to meet us at all of our stops.Having never been to Peru I couldn’t really envision what all was included, but I do believe that it was a good value and we felt perfectly safe during our entire visit

All services provided were on time and as advertised. The guides all had good English, and were able to pivot to alternative plans when something caught our fancy. The hotels were great, the dining was good, and recommendations for shopping and places to eat were all winners. And the weather was fabulous (did you do this)?

Our culinary tour of Lima
Our culinary tour of Lima, Peru was fantastic!I submitted what was interested in , they made several suggestions until I was happy. They were also flexible with the schedule when I wanted to rearrange the days. Several weeks ahead we had our schedule with time of pick up daily. The guides and drivers were on time each day. They were professional and knowledgeable. The only suggestion I have is to tell us not to eat much before the food tour because we were delightfully stuffed!! I would highly recommend Inca Expert Travel to my friends
All activities were well organized and yet flexible. The private tour guides of Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu were literally ‘Inca Experts’ well versed in the history, architecture, and culture of this amazing ancient civilization. We had a great trip and learned a lot!
Just finished up a wonderful trip in Peru. Inca Expert Travel provided us a wonderful itinerary and trip. We were very pleased with our tour guides and with the variety of things that we saw. Our family of parents and older children loved the variety of the trip.

Inca Expert customized our trip to meet our wishes on extremely short notice and within a very tight window. Exactly what we wanted. Maria was very helpful, both with arrangements and advice, and was delightful to boot. Guides were knowledgeable and personable. Everything went like clockwork.

Planning our trip to Peru with Inca Expert was a totally positive experience.
I searched for a reputable tour company that specialized in Peru. Inca Expert was highly rated and I can confirm their reputation is well deserved.
Leila, the agent I worked with, gets 5 stars for excellent communication, flexibility, and the numerous tweaks that were made to create an itinerary that met our interests and budget. She was patient, always positive, and offered information generously. A pleasure to plan with.
From arrival to departure back home, our trip was everything promised. Greeters, drivers, guides, tours and accommodations all met or exceeded expectations. I recommend Inca Expert enthusiastically and would not hesitate to plan another trip with them again.

Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this; it truly made my day to read. Planning your Peru trip with you was such a pleasure.
You were wonderfully clear about what mattered to you and your interests, which made all those tweaks and refinements genuinely fun rather than work. That back-and-forth is my favorite part of what I do. I'm especially happy to hear that everything on the ground lived up to what we planned together; the greeters, drivers, guides, and hotels are the people who really bring a trip to life, and I'll be sure to pass your kind words along to the team in Peru.
It would be an absolute joy to help you plan another adventure whenever the travel bug bites again. Until then, thank you for trusting us with this one.
Warmly,
Leila
Inca Expert Travel + Peru = A spectacular experience
We such a fantastic and amazing trip to Peru. Every guide we had was knowledgeable, friendly, spoke fluent English and had passion for the “hidden” history of Peru. We never worried about our itinerary as every driver was on time and all details were seen to by Inca Expert Travel. The briefing we received upon arriving explained everything we needed to know about our trip. We were able to savor and enjoy every minute in Peru as we could trust our guides to know how long to spend at each site and when to deliver us to our next destination. It was so relaxing!

Our trip was amazing
Our trip was amazing! We very much enjoyed our travel guides and the tours. Everyone we encountered was very helpful and willing to be flexible when needed. The hotels were incredible. All were very clean, easy to find, had welcoming staff, and plenty of food options for guests. The staff was also very willing to help with storing luggage and arranging taxis for transport.
Working with Urpi was so easy and she was quick with her responses as well. She seemed to understand all of our trip requests and worked endlessly to develop the perfect itinerary. I would 10/10 recommend Inca Expert Travel to others. My mom and I both were so glad to have used your company for our trip and it eliminated much of our travel stress.
