I received my BS in Elementary ED with a minor in Elementary School Health years ago but I really had no desire to teach. I was going to be content working in the neighborhood recreation facility. Before I embarked in that direction, a friend asked me to sub at his elementary school as a PE Teacher. Because I never did my student teaching while I was in college, i was not able to get a teaching license. I was offered and took a job as a PE assistant. It took 20 years for Iteach to launch so I could continue to work while doing my student teaching. Finishing this program allowed me to earn what I was due as the teacher of record. Thanks to Rod Knowles who hired me to be the assistant to his PE teacher 22 years ago and thanks to Sarah A Popek for finding the Iteach information in her email.

At times I wished I could have moved on in courses before waiting for my a assignments to be graded (i.e. started new readingsfor the next section while the teacher was grading my assignment).
Another review started with if I could give 0 stars I would. First they do not hold up their end of the bargain. There were many points in time where assignments went ungraded for weeks on end, far outside of their policy. But when you, for unforeseen circumstances need to unenroll from the program all of a sudden they rely on internal policy to charge you. Shame on you iTeach for a complete lack of customer service and compassion. Beware if you enter the program they won’t do what they say but expect to hold their customers to a different standard.
