Iceland at its best
Kensington made sure our first visit to Iceland will not be our last.
The back and forth with them to curate the best possible experience for my husband and I and my sister- and brother-in-law resulted in a trip that covered all our varied interests, excellent accommodations, small group tours and experiences with expert guides, and management of flight arrangements that were painless when Iceland Air made changes in the run up to our trip.
The two agents (we were seamlessly handed off along way over the year run up to leaving on the trip when one departed the company) were expert, proactive and regularly in touch. When we had a minor issue during the trip itself with one experience they made it right when told about it.
Kensington’s local familiarity led them to secure a very natural and luxurious hot springs and lunch start to our trip on the way in in our private van from the airport (rather than the highly commercial and crowded Blue Lagoon), the charming, smaller Sand Hotel on the pedestrian-only section of lovely Laugavegur street in downtown Reykjavik, 14 person tours rather than large busses for the traditional day trips of the Golden Circle and the south coast waterfalls/beach/glacier hike, a day where we did an easy hike and then descent into a dormant volcano (spectacular) while our in-laws did a walking food tour of Reykjavík, and a whale watch on a high speed 12-seat open RIB boat rather than a large crowded ship that would not have been able to zip to the various whale, dolphin and puffin sightings during our two hours on the water.
We had a wonderful 6 days in Iceland and will undoubtedly use Kensington again for future trips there and elsewhere in the world.

Switzerland Travel arranged by Nicolo Capucci
This was our first experience with Kensington Tours and we are impressed! We spent 10 days in Switzerland. Our Destination Expert, Nicolo Capucci, was very professional and arranged our agenda with much expertise. We were concerned about train travel and he was very thorough in explaining the system to us and assuring us we would be fine. He was right! Our private guides and drivers for our excursions could not have been any better! We hope to discuss future travel with Nicolo as we know the adventure would be set up perfectly. Thank you Nicolo and Kensington Tours!

Amazing Alaska Adventure
First, Alaska is an amazing destination, the magnitude of the landscape is stunning. Our travel consultant, Shaina Molano, was outstanding during the booking process, putting together a comprehensive itinerary. We were able to see everything on our wish list in the time we had. Additionally, she followed up during the trip to make sure we were having a great time!

Tanya Murray and our vacations with Kensington tours
Tanya Murray has booked our vacations for Kensington tours for multiple-years. One is better than the previous one. She started by getting the last ticket left to see the Vermeer exhibit in Amsteram and always arranges wonderful art experiences (my wife is an artist) an wonderful natural lanscapes to stimulate her imagination. We are now both 75 years old an she takes into account our evolving physical limitations (for example, not too many stairs, availability of ramps an/or lifts). Also, if last minute snafu's develop the vacation Tanya or the local call number been good at responding to our needs. Sometimes, I request a change in itinerary based on what happened in the last day or so. Tanya always arranges that.
We will continue to book tours with Tanya as long as we are able to physically travel, which will hopefully be for years to come.

Kensington does it right
Planning was key and Kensington does it right. This was a once and a lifetime trip us and it did not disappoint. Staff was easy to get a hold of when needed. Airport and train transportation was top notch. Tours and excursions were more than expected. The Santorini catamaran sunset cruise was the highlight of the trip and will never be forgotten. Kensington is at the top of our list for our next travel destination.

A masterful itinerary
I had a vague idea about my trip to Norway: to see land, fjords, and sea; spend there about 11-12 days; combine cities and nature; and what kind of assistance I was looking for. And I had a price range I perceived reasonable.
KIMBERLY D'AOUST, a representative for Norway, took these vague ideas and proposed an itinerary (Oslo - Flam - Bergen - Trondheim, with the transportation modes including trains, a fast boat, and a cruise ship) that turned out to make an amazing trip. Special events included a 3.5-hour fjord safari in Flam and a dinner at an island-located restaurant in Bergen.
Kimberly was very attentive to my many ideas of what I was interested in or not. All the logistics worked flawlessly, and expectations meat or exceeded. For example, at two hotels where I expected to have a room with a fjord view, the views were fantastic.
A lone somewhat weaker item was the Clarion Hotel the Hub in Oslo.
Overall, Kimberly perfectly imagined, tailored, and organized this trip for my level of independence.

Great experience, well thought out plan
Was hesitant initially with the schedule but Sara had it well planned. Wasn’t too hectic but enough time to see what we wanted to.
Next time having a food specific tour would be a good add. The initial booking was fairly seemless with the exception of the flight. We were booking the initial flight on our own and relying on Kensington for the internal Chile flights but they wouldn’t allow it. Sara was able to find the workaround. But that would probably be the one reason for not a 5 star.

Incredible Family Trip to Costa Rica - Arenal and Tamarindo
The selection of hotel and activities were perfect for my family. Chris (our agent) listened to what I was looking for and supplied it for us. In particualar, we were looking for locations wiht a holistic family vibe (all of us together vs. seperate rooms). He found exactly what we needed. The hotels were all 5 star and "wowed" the family. Our activities were tailored to a variety of different "likes" and everyone found something to have a great time. The highlight was the Catamaran all day cruise - wonderful experience.
