I used to be greatly assisted by Kibin editors. But I am not satisfied with the last one. The revisions were very simple, and I do not think the editor did a meticulous and active job.

I took a look at your paper, and I see that your editor made over 300 revisions and left several detailed comments, which is quite a lot of revision for a 5-page paper. As you stated in your email to Team Kibin, the edits were not visible because you had been viewing them “on a mac and that was in a text editor that did not show edits.” The document did have 131 revisions to the word choice, grammar, and overall flow, so I’m happy you were able to see those edits. We are, however, disappointed that this review wasn’t changed to better reflect your experience with Kibin as your email had mentioned you would do. I’m afraid that’s due to the fact that we did not offer a free edit of your resume in exchange for removal of this review. Your email mentioned sending the resume to your same editor free of charge to “let me see how well she does. I will change my review once I see her work.” As was explained in my email, we cannot offer a free review of a *different* document in order for you to remove a negative review that was based on a misunderstanding to begin with. Kibin needs to ensure that our editors are compensated fairly for the work that they do on each document we edit, and it would be unethical for us to provide a free review of a new document in order for you to remove an unfavorable review that is not an accurate reflection of your previous experience. Again, as I mentioned in my email, we’re happy to work with you in clearing this up if this was a misunderstanding, but we have yet to hear from you again. This is my first time to use Kibin, actually it is my first time to have a professional editor edit my paper. I would say, it is amazing. I have a waiver request to edit, my editor Ms. Gwyneth is very responsible. She even went to check the rules that I want to be waived to make sure my request is persuasive. Unfortunately, this is a very bad experience .. there is a lot of grammar mistakes, missed letters in the words, non-formal sentences; my orginal copy was much better than the edited one! I am very shocked with this experience! It was a bad idea You can see it yourself how bad it is.
