6 Months and Loving It
I've been using Lettuce for ~6 months now. It's effortless, thoughtless, and super easy. I was quite stressed about doing my solo taxes and distributions before, but since that's all automated, life's a lot better. Highly recommend it.

Great product and service
Lettuce has made the process of setting up and maintaining my LLC and S-Corp really easy. I also appreciate their ongoing commitment to adding features and improvements, as well as their responsiveness to questions and feedback. I haven't been through a tax season with them yet, but if that goes as smoothly as every other aspect of my experience I'll be pleased. Overall, a great experience with Lettuce and I'm glad I chose to work with them.

I didn't know I could save so much
I didn't know I could save so much. Even my accountant didn't think to suggest an S-Corp.
They are still working on some features, but the existing product is already implressive.

Hi Angel - We pay independent creatives for our advertising needs. Sometimes those creatives decide to leverage AI to bring their vision to life in whatever way they choose--it's never replacing anyone's work. As a platform for solos, we take this very seriously as we all consider how we can ensure AI can help solo businesses thrive.
Frustrating. Signed up 8/29/25. Was Never offered to expedite articles of incorporation submitted to the state. Never told I could. They contracted out the work to My corporation. Errors made with saying we could use P.C. Instead of Professional Corporation. Hawaii does not allow this. I ended up calling the state myself and paying $25 to expedite and fix the errors because my corporation was going to charge $100 more and could guarantee the 2-3days the state did. Informed lettuce when the state registered business and provided the document as an attachment. Lettuce did not apply for my EIN. I waited then did it myself. Provided that information to them and keep waiting for my bank account information so I can credential as a provider with medical insurance. Was told I sent my information to the support email and not the onboarding email at Lettuce yet receipt of emails was acknowledged by supposedly the same person Harriet and we have had email trains back and forth I forwarded. Beginning to wonder if it’s an AI bot I’m paying? I even requested them to call me and was never called or given a number (or a link to sign up for a call as another reviewer noted). Very disappointed as I signed up for Lettuce for efficiency and just want my dashboard up and running and my bank account number. It’s 10/14 so over a month and a half since I started the process.

Hi Marlena — we’re really sorry for the frustrating experience you’ve had. It’s clear we missed the mark on communication and timeliness after the hiccup with the state of Hawaii, and that’s not the level of service we aim to deliver. Our team has already reached out directly to resolve this--we'll get you the support you need right away.
— The Lettuce Team
Lettuce has been fantastic—it's given me peace of mind knowing they’re handling my taxes. The team is always responsive whenever I have questions. I will continue to use them. The setup process is relatively easy and fast to do. The dashboard is user-friendly and available on mobile as well.

Customer Service is prompt and available
It's not perfect but in general the platform works and is getting better. Sometimes the system is confusing to navigate but the subject, S-corp accounting, is complex and each situation is a little different. I find that customer service is good about returning communication and answering questions. In general I feel I'm getting at least the same attention and care I would receive from a dedicated tax specialist and accountant, possibly better. So far I'm satisfied with the service, the proof will be in the savings next tax season.
Started a small business last year, just from my home and it did much better than anticipated. It messed up my taxes when it was time to file. Lettuce is taking the heavy lifting of financial integrity off of me and it allows me to do what I want to focus on.
What Made The Experience Great:
I am a huge fan of Lettuce for the following reasons:
1)seamless S-Corp + payroll setup and maintenance
2)pretty easy day-to-day use
3) great UI
Areas Of Opportunity:
I've been meaning to share my area of opportunities experience, hope to hear from you guys about this:
1)I feel a little in the dark. I started my business thinking I'd make some money, maybe a few hundred grand, now it's looking closer to $1M, I find myself thinking will I outgrow Lettuce or if Lettuce is good at this high of income.
The anxiety I was getting early on when first thinking about S-Corp and payroll (which Lettuce relieved) is the same level of anxiety I'm getting now where I'm thimking about tax advantages. I feel like I need a financial advisors + tax advisors. Would be great if Lettuce offered something - aka instead of me running around finding these services you guys provide them, either your own services or via partnerships with external firms. Even like a quarter chat with a lettuce person to make sure things are square would be great.
2) Sending invoices. When I send an invoice via Lettuce to the client there's no way for me to know if the client received it. I had to slack the client to make sure they did (they did). Instead of sending invoices through Lettuce I use an external product which I don't love, but feel forced to use.
It would be great whenever an invoice is sent an email pops off with me in it (for proper record keeping). As it stands there's no real paper trail I can reference outside of Lettuce...
Lettuce offers exactly what I need as a solo-preneur and almost completely eliminates the administrative headaches I would have to manage without this product / service. The platform is still in an early stage but already creates substantial value for the cost, and the support team is very responsive.

The future of work as an S-Corp owner
Lettuce.co has been a standout resource for managing the financial back office for my practice. The platform is thoughtfully built for solopreneurs and fractional executives who don't want to deal with the nuances of operating a business of one S-Corp., allowing more time to focus on high-value work.
Customer service is a real strength. The team is responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. They don’t just solve problems—they make sure you understand the details when asked, without overwhelming you with information that doesn't apply or add value. Super efficient (a must-have for the a business of one).
Lettuce blends financial automation with a human touch, giving users structure without rigidity. For those running lean operations or serving multiple clients, it’s a practical and forward-looking solution.
Lettuce is a no-brainer because they save you lots of money. But they also make the transition to an S-Corp so easy, it required very little brain power on my part to get set up. Double no-brainer.
Their team made the transition as smooth as it could've possibly have been, including taking care of my regular LLC tax returns from the previous year.
The automation for filing quarterly taxes is a huge weight off my shoulders. I hate dealing with taxes and paperwork, so Lettuce has been a life-saver and probably a business saver.
Lettuce functions well and does everything I need to to. It does feel like the programs are early versions and the UX isn’t the most intuitive. A mobile app would be appreciated and it would be nice to be able to review transactions from a linked credit card rather than having to code the credit card bill as “misc”.
The website is easy to use. I have been using Quickbooks Self Employed for my accounting for years. The tax part of it was always the most difficult to deal with. I switched to Lettuce just over three months ago. The explanations of how the S corp process works is very helpful and I'm confident in the tax handling. They took care of all the paperwork to get me setup. I am confident it will be worth it.
The only reason I don't give five stars is that it sometimes takes a while to get responses to my questions emailed to support.

"I can't say enough good things about Lettuce Financial! They made setting up my S corp so easy and took the stress of taxes completely off my plate. I finally feel free to focus on my business instead of drowning in paperwork and worrying if I’m doing things right.
Their team was super helpful, answered all my questions (even the ones I thought were silly), and made the whole process feel simple and manageable. I honestly wish I had found them sooner. If you're a business owner feeling overwhelmed—do yourself a favor and reach out to Lettuce. Total game-changer!"
Lettuce delivers exactly on what it says it will do. It automates a lot of the compliance when transitioning from a sole proprietor to S-Corp status and makes that process very smooth. I started using Lettuce in January 2025 because switching to an S-Corp made more sense for me. The onboarding and interface are straightforward and designed to facilitate that process. The last 6 months of getting settled into the system has been greatly automated, which is a double-edged sword in that it's very simple to navigate, but so simple that it excludes more manual and granular options that make edge cases hard to deal with.
For example, the automatic split to a Payroll & Taxes account is great, but it's unknown how that portion will be further split into actual payroll and taxes until payroll is run for that month which makes it hard to plan how much actual income I'll have for the upcoming month until it actually runs.
I find myself going to support somewhat regularly about the automated process whether it be clarification on why certain things happen or to flag something I find weird when that information could have been surfaced in the app itself instead. However, their customer support is super responsive and quick to reply which is great but I would like to go to them less often if the app can handle some of these things itself.
A native application on mobile would also be great, but I'm making do with the PWA and creating a shortcut to it from Safari instead.
Lack of two-factor authentication with the service itself, deferred to Google auth, is a pretty large oversight for a financial platform handling my main source of income. I created my account with email then later linked it to my Google account, which defeats the purpose of 2FA security through Google as it can be overridden with the basic login.
Overall, it's been a great experience and I like the automated handling of payroll, but the same automation also makes it a bit of a headache to navigate in the early months of getting settled into the system.
