Thank you for acknowledging that my previous emails were not disrespectful. I would also like to clarify again that requesting an escalation is a normal part of attempting to resolve a customer service issue and should not be interpreted as harassment.
I also want to address the statement that I was seeking a free order. That was not my request. I was seeking a reasonable solution to the issue I experienced. Simply referencing company policies and cancelling my order did not resolve the matter and instead created a new issue.
Per your suggestion I have taken my business elsewhere. However I continue to stand by what I previously stated: my experience with this did not reflect a customer focused approach. My intentions throughout this process was to seek a fair resolution, not to receive something for free.

We must clarify that the aforementioned error could have resulted in financial losses far exceeding the $80 associated with your order. Demanding, threatening, or intimidating our staff to obtain unwarranted concessions is not in alignment with our company standards. Furthermore, this behavior was our initial interaction and formed our impression of you. We were prepared to retain the inventory for you and permit a re-purchase; however, you chose to harass our employees, demanding free shipping for fragile items, the costs of which are clearly indicated in the product description, which you apparently overlooked. While we acknowledge that our website experienced a technical glitch, which is an inherent risk in technology, we reserve the right to cancel orders due to errors, as explicitly stated on our website. When we suggested seeking alternative vendors if you were unwilling to cover shipping, you continued to harass our employees, even up to the present time. It is important to note that this issue occurred nearly a month ago.
We're unsure how we can further assist you if you're only looking for free services.

We have reviewed our communication and can identify instances where our employees felt harassed. Specifically, the persistence of daily emails, despite a clear decision having been communicated, caused distress. Our employees, including our supervisor, were subjected to continued communication even after a firm "no" was given. This behavior, which extended from February through March, was not appropriate. Our employees must adhere to company policies, and it was disrespectful to request escalation to higher management, belittling their decisions. While your messages may have been outwardly respectful, your disregard for our firm responses and continued pursuit, particularly after a refund was issued, demonstrated a lack of respect for our company and its processes.

Harassment is defined as unwelcome, unwarranted, and distressing conduct, whether verbal, physical, or visual, that demeans, intimidates, or humiliates an individual. Continuing to contact our employees daily for a month, even after the request was denied by all levels of management, constitutes harassment. We are pleased that you heeded our advice, and we hope those employees will no have to endure what we experienced for a month. We wish you a pleasant day.
