I have used Lugless several times to ship my kid’s camp luggage. It always went well until it didn’t. They are just a middle man to FedEx. My luggage hasn’t been delivered for almost 2 weeks and they don’t help at all. They keep saying to contact FedEx directly, who also isn’t helpful. They serve no actual purpose. You might as well just ship through FedEx yourself because either way you’re getting a crappy experience.

LugLess provided a convenient option for someone moving within the U.S. to ship their belongings, although it is somewhat expensive. I chose a delivery date that was one day after my arrival at my new location so that I would be physically present to receive the boxes and take them into the house. Alas! FedEx sent me an email notifying me that my boxes would be delivered three days earlier than the date I had selected. This caused a great deal of anxiety, and it became a herculean task to reschedule the delivery. After multiple phone calls to FedEx Customer Care and even paying an additional fee, I was finally able to reschedule the delivery. Unfortunately, that was not the end of my frustration. All three boxes arrived torn, with some of my belongings literally popping out. Some of my clothes were heavily stained with dirt, while a pot and a frying pan were badly misshapen.
The service was easy to use and ended up getting my bags to their destination even earlier than expected!

My first experience was good but my second one was equally bad or I say worse. It didnt work for me at all. They charged me extra fee for bags 2 weeks after getting delivered saying dimensional and weight adjustment. For eg they said my checked bag was billed for 42x37x21 and my carry on for 31x19x12 which is absurd. even when i filed a claim and attached pictures with measurements of my bags along with the delivery package they said that they did their research and I have to pay without giving me any proof. I was charge 140 usd extra like this. Also in the picture of my checked bag it was clearly 27x17x13. They replied by saying that I have to add wheels too like adding wheels would increase the height by 15 inches. I mean I have yet to receive a resolution as I have been constantly emailing them since past 2 weeks and they are not giving any proper response which is taxing.
The actual delivery was easy and the price was great! It is a little difficult when you are first trying to figure it out. I had questions but had a hard time finding the answers. But after using it once, the next time will be much easier.

Lugless made my travel to NYC so much less stressful. Not only did I save money, I didn’t have the struggle of wrangling my bags around the city for a day filled with appointments, sightseeing and such. Arrived exactly when anticipated, great service!
