I have been a loyal buyer of Olight flashlights and Magicshine bike lights for many, many years. As a flashaholic I can appreciate a great product with a great build quality. As I type this 5 star review on my computer I currently have 17 flashlights around me and that's just here. Enough of me let's get to the amazing customer service I received from Max at Magicshine. I recently ordered the Monteer 8000S v2 bike light directly from Magicshine. I already have the same one on another PEV. I just love the small form factor and the bright intense light it produces. I tested it right out the box to make sure everything works before I install it. The operation of the light worked fine but had a small issue with one of the leds had a faint glow after it was powered off. I sent pics and video. Max from customer service got back right away to me via email and without hesitation confirmed it wasn't normal behavior and immediately sent out a replacement for me. A few days later I received the new replacement unit and I was back in business. Out of all the products that I have purchased I never had any issues whatsoever so it was a very nice experience to deal with a company that stands behind their products. I would highly recommend MagicShine for all your lighting needs.

A perfectly functional light becomes waste because of one plastic part
I purchased a Magicshine Monteer 1400 because I trusted a brand that appeared to stand for quality, durability, and sustainability, even though it was more expensive than many alternatives. After 6 years of working perfectly, a small plastic mounting part broke, making the light unusable for cycling.
I contacted both technical support and the marketing department looking for a solution. I suggested several alternatives: advising whether any current adapter could be adapted to fit, providing the design or technical drawing of the part so I could 3D print it myself, or recommending any other technical solution that would allow me to continue using a light that still works perfectly.
They have not helped me at all. They confirmed that no spare parts are available, offered no alternative solution, and the only proposal I received was a 20% discount code to purchase a new light.
Personally, I prefer to support companies that are committed to repairability and extending the lifespan of their products. That is precisely why I chose Magicshine instead of cheaper alternatives. Today, I am disappointed with the response I received.

Your Monteer 1400 has been in service for around six years, and we sincerely appreciate your long-term support of Magicshine.
Regarding the mounting part, unfortunately, as this product has been discontinued for many years, we no longer have spare parts or 3D design files available for this component. We understand this isn't the answer you were hoping for.
If you have access to 3D printing and are comfortable designing replacement parts yourself, you may certainly try creating a compatible replacement. While we're unable to provide technical drawings or CAD files, we genuinely hope this could help extend the life of your light.
We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding repairability and product longevity. We'll share your comments with our product team as we continue improving future products and our after-sales support.

I bought a Seemee r300 from magicshine July 2025 and it has the brightest and longest charge of any rear light i have ever used in 27 years, i had a problem this month June 2026 and they replaced free of charge great after sale service, I will be recommending to all in my group "Leeroadies "
Overall, I’m happy with the product. It’s lightweight and its daytime flash is nice and bright. The 7 hours of battery on daytime flash is not as long as it sounds I’m sure there’s a trade off between duration and weight though, so I’m willing to charge it more often to save some grams.
It can with a small zip tie but I couldn’t figure out how to use it to secure the mount to my seat post so I just used the stretchy band it came with. The instructions also listed a mode that the light doesn’t seem to have, but that’s not a deal breaker.

Light seemed bright and with easy controls via separate button that mounts conveniently on handle bar, but the mount for the light itself fell apart on first attempt to install. Cheap plastic that broke in two places: the joint hinge with small metal pin as well as the site where the tightening hex screw enters

I absolutely love my Magicshine Hori 1300! The light is top-notch, with crazy good battery and it's built to last. Also big thank-you to the support team, I had an issue with my remote but the team was incredibly helpful and resolved everything very quickly. I’m so impressed with their responsiveness! Highly recommend this brand, would give it more stars if I could.
