Purchased and working great since September 2024. Bermuda grass .25 archers. My YUKA 1500 2024 showed zero power and would not connect to my app. I found it a few feet from charging station.
I contacted support on chat from the App. They responded quickly and gave me steps for troubleshooting. Following their steps I was able to solve my no power issue.
My only problem with the support is needing to chat with three different people because they closed the chat if I spent a few minutes do the troubleshooting. They eventually caught up but this was tedious, describing the situation three times.
Bought LUBA5000 AWD as one of the first costumer throught the Kickstarter program. I am satisfied with the product although would lite to exchange for latest model which has SIM card support and better accuracy.
Buying a Mammotion Luba 2 is the best thing I have done this year so far. The outstanding Design, the functionality and the 24-7 customer service is remarkable. I have not been convinced directly because of the investment of about 2599€ (and this is a lot of money for me) but the accuracy and the silence while cutting the lawn is awsome and justifies the price. And in comparison with other manufacturer it is cheaper.
The time I win now by letting the lawn cut can now be used much better. I am a big Mammotion fan from the first second the Robot started to mow. I hope he will last long.
So far I am very pleased with my Luba 2. I mapped one area and the robot mowed it perfectly. I dis have to read the user manual to figure out how to set things up and had to contact support (which has been excellent) on a couple issues which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. I also have struggled to set up my account as it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect.
Impossible – My Two-Month Experience with the Mammotion Luba
Owning the Mammotion Luba has felt like dating that gorgeous, high-maintenance girlfriend who promises the world, dazzles you at first sight… and then slowly drives you mad. After two months together, I’m ready to break up.
I live in Denmark, and before purchasing I made sure that Luba’s integrated SIM-based 4G navigation was supported here. I was assured it was – and technically, it is – but in reality, it works very poorly. Almost daily (or at best every other day) I get the error telling me to “install the RTK antenna,” which makes no sense because in my country SIM navigation is supported. To clear the error, I usually have to restart the robot, and often even reset it entirely. This means losing my map and having to remap my garden at least once, sometimes twice, a week.
Obstacle avoidance is equally disappointing. I have it set to high sensitivity, but it fails to detect garden hoses, children’s toys, and even 7-cm-tall stone tiles – it ran straight over them and damaged the blades. The only things it reliably avoids are very large, obvious objects like trees. For a 2,500-euro mower claiming advanced navigation, this is unacceptable.
The problem isn’t the cutting quality – when it works, it cuts well. The issue lies in the poorly designed navigation system and app. Luba only performs consistently if you have a perfect, obstacle-free lawn where it can run the exact same pattern every day. My garden has five raised beds and various children’s play items – in practice, I have to “prepare” the space before each mow, which defeats the whole point of an autonomous mower.
Customer support is another disaster. Not only is communication slow, but the agents clearly have little product knowledge, often respond with irrelevant scripted replies, and struggle with clear English. Every interaction leaves me more frustrated.
Other daily frustrations include:
• Frequent loss of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi recognition, requiring me to physically carry the mower to the lawn.
• Random overnight changes to settings and language after automatic updates.
• Skipping entire lawn sections for no apparent reason.
• An inflexible app that doesn’t allow splitting or editing maps without remapping from scratch.
• Complete inability to navigate dynamically like a modern indoor robot vacuum – if a narrow path between the base and the lawn is blocked, it simply stops instead of finding a way around.
For the price, I expected a product that could run on schedule with minimal intervention. Instead, I spend more time monitoring, resetting, and remapping Luba than I would actually mowing the lawn myself.
Bottom line: The concept is excellent, but the execution is deeply flawed. The Luba is not worth €2,500 in its current state. If I could, I would return it without hesitation.

Mammotion Yuka 2024 is generally a quality machine with solid performance, and customer service is usually fast and competent. Unfortunately, software updates are sometimes released too early, leading to many bugs, and it is a major issue that Mammotion completely stops updating the software on their products shortly after launch. For example, the Yuka 2024 has not received a single update since November 2024 – this is disappointing and significantly lowers the overall impression.
I discovered the brand at CES in vegas and was surprised by how mature the technology "appeared". I purchased their first generation device and it was solid for 10 months. Their power/charging systems are extremely poorly built, but thankfully their customer service handled the first few issues without pause. Sadly, after 15 months into the life of a nearly $3k device with a 3 year warranty, the true colors of mammotion are starting to shine. My device is a brick, customer service is useless, warranty is not being honored. Meanwhile the company is introducing new versions on what feels like a monthly basis. I do not recommend mammotion despite them starting off strong.

Dear Customer
We sincerely apologize for the trouble caused by the issue with your machine. Our technical team is currently working diligently to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We understand how disruptive this can be, especially during your mowing season.
Additionally, we have arranged for the necessary parts to be shipped, and we are working to expedite the logistics to minimize any further delays.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
While a spare part (new charging station power supply) was rapidly dispatched from Hong Kong, the address on the UPS shipping label was incomplete, making it impossible for UPS to deliver the package. Meanwhile the package is lost by UPS and the whole process has to be restarted. Still waiting for the new delivery.

Hello Stef Lauwers,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are actively working to correct the issue and ensure that the necessary parts are provided to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We truly appreciate it.
Though the exchange can take time with the time zone difference they are reasonable and work to find a solution. After finding my mower was going to be difficult and it lengthy to repair they decided to send me a newer refurbished unit as a replacement.
I just bought a LUBA 2 AWD robotic lawn mower from Mammotion in June 2025.
I had some difficulty at first installing the robot station and its antenna, despite the instructions in the manual. It was necessary to find clear, unobstructed locations with a good view of the sky so that the equipment could be accurately detected by the mapping system.
Apart from that, I’m satisfied with the robot for several reasons:
The mapping system works well — there’s no need to install boundary wires around the lawn, which can sometimes be complicated.
The accuracy is good enough for defining the mowing area and avoiding obstacles.
I recently encountered a 4G connectivity issue with the robot, but the support team handled it very efficiently and resolved the problem.
Great products, rapid response from support when needed. Still, with each new release I feel they start from beginning and some fixes for older products are not applied from the start - but with fast response they get fixed really quick
