Good customer service and support when i needed to reach out about my dog tracker that wasn’t working properly I got a new device in 10 days. Also got a reduction fee on my dog membership. I love its good money spent to track my dog health.
Our Papillon "Dash" is now 15 1/2 years old and has been on several-times-a-day-meds for a serious heart murmur for the past two years. The best way to monitor if the meds are working is to count respirations while he sleeps. But any time we look at him, he wakes up. The Maven collar attachment arrived a bit over a week ago, and it is doing an amazing job tracking his respiration and heart rate, as well as activity level. It even reports its findings in a daily wrap-up. The graph showed Dash's breathing was abnormally fast while sleeping at night vs. napping by day, and realized it might be due to us turning off our A/C at night. Last night, we kept the A/C going, and his respirations stayed at the normal level. My husband and I were fine sleeping at 77F and would have had no idea Dash was struggling if not for the Maven. Maven's readings seem very accurate, and it's also tiny and feather-light. The charge lasts about a week, and it charges quickly. Once Dash is gone (which will hopefully be a long time in the future), my husband already brought up that he wants to continue our Maven subscription to use with our younger/healthy dog to keep ahead of any problems.
I’ve had my device for a week. The app & device are easy to set up and use. I got the device because my dog has an enlarged heart due to a heart murmur & I was having to monitor his respiration rate. The device does that & more. Very happy with my purchase.
I have been using this for almost a month. I originally got the fi collar because I thought it tracked health, when I realized it didn't I returned it, and then this magical little device showed up on my suggested feed. Im still learning how to read the data, but I know its invaluable. My baby boy was diagnosed with mid stage mitral valve heart disease and its been the most devastating news of my life. This helps me find a little comfort, a little reassurance, if there are any unusual changes it informs me, im so grateful.
My dog has an enlarged heart and we are to track his respiration I am so thankful to maven for tracking this so at times when I’m not with him I can see and email graphs to my vet We’ve been using only 1 week but already has captured a few high instances
I am super impressed with this monitoring device for my dog (Isaac). It tracks his activity, water drinking and head shaking. My dog does tend to get ear infections so when the app told me he was experiencing more head shaking than usual, I immediately checked his ears and sure enough. He had the beginnings of an ear issue. I was able to clean his ears and use some medicine and catching it early avoided having to take him to the vet. And it cleared up quickly so Isaac wasn't uncomfortable for long. Thanks Maven

We are loving the Maven collar for our 16 year old baby. It has helped us catch ear issues and helps keep a base line for us as she ages. Definitely recommend this to any dog parent that likes to be able to keep an extra eye on their pup!

It was a bit of an effort trying to obtain Maven as they don't ship to where I live, had to ask a friend who lives in UK to forward the parcel to me. The extra effort was really worthwhile as Maven not only gives you data, but also does trend analysis and simple suggestions. I have checked the heart rate and respiratory rate directly as well to see if it is accurate, and I must say it is quite accurate. As a veterinary surgeon, I often advise my clients (especially dogs with heart murmur and cats with cardiomyopathy confirmed with echo) to monitor resting respiratory rate and this will definately help with the regular monitoring. I'd like to see this product be more accessible to pet parents who live in my region of the world.
Beware the FAKE $88 discount. This is a pop-up "discount" on the main page. The popup states: "Get $88 off. Catch health changes early, before your next vet visit," with a "Claim $88 Off" button that requests a first name and email. The only "terms" on this pop-up are "limited time". After entering an email and clicking "Claim $88 Off," I was returned to the exact same checkout page, at the exact same price ($167.92), with no discount code applied. I also received a follow-up email repeating the "$88 off" offer with a button that led back to the identical, unchanged checkout page. FTC guidance (16 CFR Part 233, and general FTC Act requirements around truthful, non-deceptive advertising) requires that any conditions or terms affecting an advertised price be clearly and conspicuously disclosed *at the point of the offer*, and that advertised discounts actually be available to consumers who follow the steps presented to them. As experienced, this promotion did not deliver a discount through the process it advertised. Trust? Welp, you killed it before I even bought the product.

When my 9yo mini Aussie was diagnosed with a heart murmur/mitral regurg, I was worried I would miss warning signs. Maven has taken that fear away. We’re now able to trend his breathing, heart rate, activity changes, and share the info with his vet/cardiologist. All 3 of our dogs have a maven device and we will get it for all future dogs. Can’t recommend enough.
I am loving Maven! I have an almost 16 year old Staffy and she sleeps a lot. My concerns have been she isn’t getting hydrated enough, and with her aging- I worry about her heart. Maven gives me peace of mind and I’m thankful the information is easy to read, and easy to share with my vet. Highly recommended!
I'm so beyond thrilled with this purchase. I went on a five day trip and had the chance to monitor my dog's health while I was away. It brought me great comfort. I was on a trip about 10 years ago and my beloved dog passed away with a dog sitter and I have had severe anxiety ever since leaving any of my dogs home. We even went so far to buy an RV to take six dogs on trips with us now I can leave for a short trip to see family without being terrified that the dog sitter is not monitoring his breathing properly. I was able to see that his water intake was low and encourage the sitter to help him with that. The cost is really low, especially for the peace of mind. It brings really, really thrilled. if you have a senior pet or one that is in congestive heart failure, or might need monitoring for their kidneys and water intake I highly recommend this product - really brilliant invention.

This a very worthwhile tool for monitoring basic health metrics and to see trends. We have experienced heart disease with our pups and the Maven helps us monitor trends for heart rate and resting respiratory rate, very important to catch change early. The new feature to monitor calories burned is exciting as we are working on weight loss for one of our dogs. Customer service has been very helpful with quick response to questions. I am very satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend for anyone dealing with heart conditions or senior dogs to catch changes early.
I purchased the Maven pet device for my senior dog who was diagnosed with cancer. It’s been great at helping me calm my nerves with his breathing and sleep quality! Will recommend to anyone for any dog or cat they have!!
Our foster/ adopt came to us with advanced heartworm..the vet wasnt sure he would make it thru treatment..maven was able to track things i would not have been able to and let us and his care team know he was not doing well..it allow his team to catch his irratic heart rate and respitory dips..it allowed this sweet angel the opportunity to cross peacfully before a tragic event happened again by having this information for his care team..in a perfect world it catches these issues before your pet becomes ill..but in our case it was helpful because our guy was already very sick and helped track what we thought would be an incline in health but it caught his decline ollowing for a more peaceful end
I love having the Pet Maven app! Since my dog is 14 years old, I really like to have an app that tracks all the important things in her life. The water intake tracking is especially helpful because she can easily get UTIs so I can notice differences quickly. I also love being able to track how she is sleeping, since that is so important for older dogs.
The set up was easy and so is the use of the app. It has the 2 most important criteria, pulse and respirations, for my dog who was recently diagnosed with heart murmur scale 2-3. Now I can track if he might be going into pulmonary edema and if his heart is being overworked!
