I enjoy checking on my pups activity and sleep throughout the day to know if he's had enough activity or if I need to add an extra walk un the day to make sure he is getting his walks and movement in. The heart rate and other features are very cool to for checking on other health needs should they arise. Creating a normal routine helps when seeing a day or more that doesnt quite fit his normal and I can keep track and monitor it if needed.
My Cavalier King Charles has mitral valve disease and the key to knowing his status is recording his respiratory rate. Since Maven arrived I sleep much sounder knowing I don’t have to stay awake trying to count breaths of my sweet boy who always has one eye open and ruins my count.
It's just been a little over a week since we got it, but so far it's great. I like having the breaths and heart rate monitored. My day is small and he didn't mind it being on his collar.
It is amazing being able to track how well my dogs sleeping and how much she’s being active. My dog is reactive so making sure she is having good quality sleep is imperative for her mental health.
I have been using it for over 10 months, the unit is easy to use and the information is easy to understand specially for my 14 year old chihuahua very close to vitals at the vets office. Had a problem with my sensor reached out to customer service and they’re very helpful and considerate. Don’t hesitate!!
We have loved seeing our pet stats and keeping track of his respiratory rate since he has nitro valve disease. He doesn’t always sleep with us, so it’s hard to be able to count his breath but now we can rest assure he is protected.
I love the Maven. It's been really helpful to me in assessing my senior beagle's health and reporting data to his vet. I feel much better about his overall health and can make sure he gets more sleep when needed.
I love having health data for my dog, especially because he is a puppy and a breed that has certain known health issues, and Maven has helped me get a jump-start on tracking his health and well-being. I look at his sleep data daily as well as his calorie burn to get a sense of how much activity he needs throughout the day. It has been super helpful and insightful. Also, the battery lasts a long time!
This sensor gives us peace of mind that we are monitoring our 13 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s heart condition continuously. Easy to set up. Only feedback would be to make the font on the app bigger. Great product.
Ordered their product on 7/19 and it was to arrive in 4 to 8 days. After 8 days I wrote to customer support and Melissa Anderson replied with “they can’t track the shipment” …(but they can charge you instantly…) I’ve been told to be patient, it “should “ arrive in a week or so… at $250+ they should at least use UPS or FEDEX not “SHIP DUDES FULFILLMENT” ! Now it’s 8/4, still no product and no response from multiple emails to customer service starting 7/30. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

A great little device, recommended by a pet health specialist. It works so well (measuring everything I need to know and more). I highly recommend it.
A little complicated to get set up, but it’s definitely worth it! I love being able to see a full day’s information about my pet instead of just when I can count her breaths, and that I can keep track of trends over time. My dog is too small for any other trackers that are out there, so I was so happy to come across Maven.
The Maven works wonderfully providing invaluable information to help raise, train, and ensure our dog leads a healthy lifestyle. The data greatly aids with tracking how much daily sleep and exercise he receives. The Maven itself is easy to charge. The battery lasted nearly 1 week before needing a recharge.
Absolutely love this for my pup. Hes my absolute best friend and I wanted to know before he gets sick. He wears his sensor everyday and I love being able to see his heart rate all the way to his drinking. Absolute 5 stars and I'm trying to get my dad to get one for his dog too.
Setup of the Maven device for my cat was easy. The app pretty much guides you daily along the way. My Sphinx kitty adjusted to his new collar well. I learn more about how heart rate, breathing, sleeping and activity are important with the info provided along the way. I feel he is protected so much better now. Thanks Maven!
I'd been thinking for a while that something was wrong with my Lucy. Her breathing seemed fast sometimes, but when we'd take her to the vet, she'd be normal. She was scheduled for dental cleaning, but I saw an ad for your product. After a bit of research, I decided to order the monitor for Lucy. We were able to show the vet 4 days worth of data prior to her dental appointment. Instead of a teeth cleaning, she had a full cardio work-up. We discovered she has a heart condition. Without the data from the Maven Pet device we might have lost her under anesthesia. Thank you for creating a wonderful and affordable product!
Awful customer service. The device never even shipped, yet I was told on numerous occasions that it was 'on its way.' If your pet genuinely needs this device for a medical condition, I would recommend purchasing from a reputable company with reliable customer service. In my experience, this company did not provide accurate updates or make a meaningful effort to ensure the product was delivered.

We understand your frustration, but please note that there was not anything else we could do besides ship the order again once it became clear it was lost; since you had already requested the cancellation at that point, the order was promptly refunded in full instead. My senior citizen papillon has a leaky heart valve, aka Mitral Valve Disease. Her symptoms seemed to be getting worse but I basically never kept up with the data her vet always requested. The resting respiratory rate is the main issue because they use that information to adjust medications. After finding Maven, I stopped feeling like I was failing my dog! It's incredibly easy to use, especially for me, I'm not very savvy with this stuff. I am now able to have the information the vet asks for at my fingertips! I just wish managing your billing account could be done easier. I want to change plan to yearly instead of monthly. I wish there was a clear spot on the app. Otherwise, I really can't complain! It has helped my mental load...having 3 dogs and two human children.
Device is easy to set up and has very good battery life. App is easy to use and gathers the data that I really need for my Italian Greyhound with a leaky heart valve. Tracks respirations and heart rate and also other health data like drinking, sleep and head shaking.
It's giving me notice of how my 10.5 year old Shihtzu poodle is doing with his congestive heart failure and I can send reports right over to his cardiologist! Invaluable for me!
