Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently mention that the platform makes it remarkably simple to purchase and use healthcare vouchers for various medical tests. People appreciate how affordable medical procedures become, allowing individuals to save substantial amounts of money compared to traditional insurance rates. Reviewers also note that the check-in process at medical facilities is seamless when presenting their printed documentation.
However, some people mentioned experiencing ongoing billing complications or receiving unexpected invoices from providers after their completed appointments. A few consumers reported difficulties when trying to coordinate voucher usage smoothly with local hospital staff during their visits.

The calcium score test is very affordable. We purchased the $59 voucher per person and called the hospital to make an appointment. The hospital received our information right away after the transaction was completed. There’s no need to print the voucher to show. Highly recommend.
Well, technically, the MDSave-related site is 5-star in theory and experience - until I receive duplicate (higher) bills from the servicer for the same tests and then additional hidden bills from one of their servicers (and I still haven't figured out what they have to do with the process yet). It's happened twice in a row now and it is still unresolved. Probably not MDSave's fault, again, in theory, but the people using the platform at the actual place of service apparently need more training in billing or pushing the correct buttons. I'm not even being seen for blood pressure issues, but the whole medical billing stuff is changing that. The whole point of MDSave - for me - is to know exactly what I am paying and bypass the wonky billing practices of the medical field.
We appreciated having an option for reduced costs as self-pay patients. I appreciated that we were refunded for the test which was not used. The difficulty was that neither the hospital nor MD Save knew how to counsel me on which option to buy. I was having a thyroid ultrasound to check out whether a biopsy was necessary. I ended up purchasing both the thyroid ultrasound and the biopsy package. I was told that the package could not be divided up in cost to refund the biopsy part if that was not needed. However, the thyroid ultrasound was also not a complete ultrasound. It was only enough to detect that the lump was a cyst rather than possible cancer needing the biopsy. They did not look at the whole thyroid or take many measurements.
