Happy with the service

Overall, very pleased. Good value for the money. A bit bumpy in the beginning as we transitioned from in house billing to outsourced billing. Do not expect them to answer questions from patients, etc- we direct that to the front desk at our office as we tried multiple times to get this to work but language barrier was a challenge and they handle alot of accounts. BEFORE Experiencing BellMedEx I was Burned & Jaded...

I have worked with six other billers or billing companies prior to BellMedEx and ALL have been a horrible experience until lucky number seven- i.e., BellMedEx. The first company nearly destroyed my business and the others that tried fixing things were just too overwhelmed by the backlog of fixes and keeping up with the current claims that I thought I would lose all possibility of staying in business. The week before I found BellMedEx, I genuinely thought my dreams had died. I had a W2 employee that I trusted to keep up on things and thought she knew what she was doing, but the learning curve was growing, and she was invested in her role as an important cog that makes the machine move forward. It had become a paycheck and for me and the rest of the staff, it is our life's purpose and livelihood. When I called BellMedEx and explained the mess that needed fixed, they didn't run from it. Prior to their call, I had interviewed nearly a dozen prospects that felt like everything else I had dealt with, and hope was hard to scrape together. I was skeptical and had my walls up, but the team believes in the work they do, and their confidence is found in their competence. They truly want to do good work and bring things back to whole and are not just advertising that. They were logical and direct in that it would be a difficult undertaking that would take some upfront level time investment, which meant needing to commit more team members for a few months, but felt that I would see a change to consistency and get back to where I belonged. They didn't sugarcoat my circumstances and insert false hope. It was a situation where I knew they were willing to learn my system instead of forcing me into their protocol. They needed to understand how things came about and what I needed to feel safe with another company outside of my walls touching my information that affected livelihoods. BellMedEx evaluated my company and our quotas. They even assessed areas that had room for growth. When I was concerned if I was missing opportunities for coding things my business does regularly as curtesy, they allowed me to meet with their experts and ask questions that no other billing company had every done effectively despite my requests. (I had one meeting in total from the six others and I ended up correcting them based on what I learned on Google.) The knowledge and time investment I have found with BellMedEx has been something that honestly has probably begun to help reset my nervous system. Years ago, I was told by a mentor it didn't matter how good you are at your job because your biller matters more. I took offense to that until I experienced a bad one. BellMedEx's team was empathetic and felt like they also took it personally regarding what was done. Billers who do subpar work impact those that truly try like this company does. BellMedEx tailors to your business's format and needs, which was vital for my situation and honestly healing something that was experienced as a version of complicated grief or CPTSD that I never thought possible. I now meet weekly briefly just to check in on how my company is progressing, which helps us all get on the same page and ensure we are following up on claim details early. If there are questions that need additional information for a help ticket shared on their HIPPA compliant system, we can take the time to review. The team cares for me personally as well as professionally and not only are we a team of colleagues, but we have become friends along the way.

Good customer service and timely communication, although there are inconsistencies in carry through with things we have asked multiple times to ensure our business is protected and we are getting timely payments. Overall good experience and organized but have had to send reminders on some things and there has been some misunderstandings/language barrier perhaps.
