Since the height of the Microvisor Hood…
Since the height of the Microvisor Hood is at head level, it is easy for your brow to hit the MH. If the ends are more round the impact would be minimal.

Great product
Great product. Works as advertised. Looks OEM like it came as part of the microwave. Wife approved. Prevents the oil/steam from getting on to cabinets. Does require a wipe down every couple of uses, but a regular hood vent requires that as well.

Easy install
Easy install. Matches my brushed stainless steel microwave. And captures the smoke , which would activate close by fire alarms too frequently.

It does what it promises
It does what it promises. Looks and works great. However it was a little difficult to line up and install the screws. My advise if you buy a new microwave install the visor bracket before mounting the microwave.
