Being completely honest, this controller is so fire. I was definitely nervous after reading all the reviews on YouTube and Instagram, but this controller really blew my mind. It works so well and you just have to play with the settings. Once you understand the app. It’s so easy. Super happy with my controller. It did take about three weeks to receive it. The shipping was definitely quick, but the process on making the controller did take a little bit, but it’s understandable. 5/5

It took almost a month to get my controller . It does feel nice and look good . The app disconnects often and needs some help . Customer service did respond to my email the next day about when I would receive my controller . That was appreciated

Buyer Beware
Premium price, repeated faults, expensive warranty return, and no meaningful resolution I purchased a ModdedZone controller for approximately $480 AUD, including shipping. The controller began developing problems within the first week. The original faults included buttons sticking and failing to register, particularly the X, O and left D-pad buttons. Inputs would sometimes stop working for around five or six seconds during gameplay, and at times even the PlayStation button would not register to turn the fully charged controller on. ModdedZone confirmed the faults from video evidence and accepted the controller for warranty repair. However, because I am an international customer, I had to pay approximately $109.50 AUD out of my own pocket to send their faulty product back. After waiting for the controller to be repaired and returned, it developed further problems shortly afterwards. The right thumbstick now jerks and skips during small aiming movements instead of tracking smoothly. When following a target, the aim can jump behind or ahead of it, making accurate long-distance aiming extremely difficult. Some buttons have also started sticking again. I completed all of ModdedZone’s requested troubleshooting, including multiple software updates, resetting the controller, checking the thumbstick settings and permanently recalibrating the sticks. It improved briefly, but the faults returned. I purchased this controller specifically for FPS games, but it has frequently performed worse than a standard controller. I have spent months dealing with faults, troubleshooting and repairs rather than enjoying the product. ModdedZone has refused my refund request because they say it is outside their refund period, despite the issues beginning within the first week and continuing throughout my ownership. They also will not provide a prepaid international return label, meaning I could be expected to spend another approximately $110 AUD to send it back again. That would leave me more than $220 AUD out of pocket in warranty shipping alone, on top of the controller’s original cost, with no guarantee that another repair would provide a lasting solution. This has been a completely negative experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ModdedZone, particularly to international customers who may be left paying substantial shipping costs whenever a defective controller requires warranty service.

However, we would like to clarify the timeline and actions taken on our end so there is full transparency. Your controller was delivered on March 12th. The first time we were contacted regarding any issue was on April 27th, when you reported button-related faults. You provided video evidence, which we reviewed and confirmed, and we immediately opened a warranty repair ticket. Once the controller was received, it was serviced and the issue was addressed. The repair was completed within 4 business days upon receiving it and the controller was shipped back to you on June 4th, and it was delivered via FedEx Priority at no cost to you, arriving on June 9th. We then did not receive any further contact regarding issues until July 27th, more than a month and a half after the repaired controller had been returned. At that time, you reported a new issue with the thumbsticks. We responded promptly with multiple troubleshooting steps to help isolate and potentially resolve the issue. While you advised the initial button issue persisted, we did not receive any new video evidence to verify the reported fault apart from a video of the thumbsticks. You also requested a full refund; however, as outlined in our policy, refunds are only available within 14 days of delivery. In this case, the initial request was made well outside that window, and the controller had already undergone a completed warranty repair and extended usage period. Regarding international returns, as stated in our FAQ and policy, we are unable to provide prepaid return labels for international orders. That said, we remain fully committed to supporting international customers through warranty service and repair. We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, especially with a premium product, and we are genuinely sorry to hear you are still experiencing difficulties. However, we have acted in line with our warranty policy at every stage—promptly diagnosing the initial issue, completing a repair at no cost, and continuing to offer troubleshooting and support for the later concern. We are still more than willing to assist you further and inspect the controller again to ensure any remaining issues are properly addressed.
