We ordered the renal friendly diet. Everything that is in there is stuff on the list that he can't have. brown rice, beans tomatoes, sausage, He is also supposed to used meats 93% fat free meats. I am unsure what these meats are that are in these packages. but if they used sausage, they certainly didn't care about that or the fact that sodium is to be low. these don't taste low sodium for I can try them for him but I can not have sodium either. now for flavor, they are mid road. not great but not inedible.
Speedy on - time delivery. Some meals were very good. Other meals were spiced up way too much such as the shrimp. It seemed to be the same seasoning on a number of meals. I liked the fact there was low salt. There should me more selections.
Having a few new foods I have never had that were tasty. When I first look at the vacuumed package of food, I first think I will never get full on that, but by the time I finish, I am full! Would enjoy having more variety of vegetables.
The food is well seasoned (FODMAP plan). It arrives cold in a well insulated (recyclable) box. I live alone and when I get tired of eating leftovers, having a meal ready in 3 minutes is such a treat.
Meals are tasty, delivery on time and it’s healing my gut.
Great food. Great conmunication!!
I updated and saved my order and ended up with the same order as last time. So disappointing.
I received this box of meals in a box that was not marked perishable or refrigerate. I brought it in my house and left it for 10 hrs. When i noticed it was leaking, I opened box. It was poorly arranged and I put the items in freezer. Some had defrosted. I have eaten 4 meals. They are tasteless and do not agree with me. I called today and was told nothing can be done. I do not recommend buying anything from this company. I am very unhappy about this.
I am very pleased with the meals and the service I’m receiving from ModifyHealth. The low calorie, low sodium and FODMAP digestion friendly meals are tasty and there is a great selection every week. The price is affordable for me and definitely cheaper than looking for fast food alternatives and even cooking a meal for myself. The delivery is on time and well packaged. The only suggestion I have is that use by or discard dates are added to the package. So the caregivers can check those dates before preparing the meal.
The company is doing a very good job with the menu offerings. The variety of low sodium, low calorie offerings I am very pleased with. Also I have some digestive problems and the FODMAP meals have reduced some of my concerns in that regard. My only issue is the plastic film is not easy to remove. It requires me to have a pair of kitchen shears to cut it off. Also, could you include use by or discard by dates on your meals? That was helpful with other food delivery services that I have purchased in the past and I noticed your company doesn’t have them.
I had an issue with UPS delivering my food warm and melted. I was quite upset about it but Modify Health was quick to address my concerns and offer either a refund or a new box. That’s means a lot these days when every company is trying to squeeze or scam you for every penny. Other than that incident, everything was great and such a convenience!
First, I love how much attention you pay to communicating with the customer. I get emails when my meals are shipped (both from you and UPS) and then UPS allows me to track my shipment. I've tried several meal subscriptions and Modify Health the only service that has been so strong on communication. Second, I appreciate that your meals are vacuum sealed. It gives me a feeling of confidence that my meals will stay fresher longer in the fridge. Third, the meals are dedicated toward people with several health issues. I'm gluten-free, and I'm fighting diabetes, so knowing I can depend on meals that meet my health needs is great. Plus, they're low sodium, and most are low carb. Oh--and the food is delicious. I've read reviews where people say the portions are too small, but personally, I like that. It helps me keep track of my calories each day as I stay on a weight loss plan. As I mentioned, I've tried several subscription meal plans but when I tried Modify Health, I knew this was the plan I'd stay with. Five stars all the way.
I believe all of the good reviews are fake. I ordered 10 meals through the Spend Down app for about $13 per meal, and this was by far the worst meal service I've ever tried. I was never given the opportunity to choose my meals. I assumed I would receive a confirmation email or a link to make my selections after placing my order, but that never happened. Instead, I received mostly chicken thigh meals, which I do not eat. The quality was extremely disappointing. The food was mashed together and had the consistency of something intended for someone who cannot chew solid food. It was unappetizing and not what I expected for the price. In my opinion, these meals were nowhere near worth $13 each. I contacted customer service, but they did not offer a refund, replacement, or any other resolution. After seeing the rest of the meals, I realized they were all prepared the same way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. The lack of meal selection, poor food quality, and lack of customer support made this a very disappointing purchase.
The food is horrible. Why too spicy especially for someone who has stomach issues. Did not know it was a continuing program. I called and cancelled and you another shipment the next day.
Many entrees were disappointing. Too few vegetables and often dry meat.I’d hoped for better meals, taste and substance wise.
The food is okay (except for the white meat chicken which is extremely dry). However, the food is only part of the experience. Receiving an order on Friday and having less than 24 hours to amend the next week's order obviously gives no opportunity to try the current choices. Therefore, if you don't like something, you're stuck with it a second week. The first week, UPS delivered the order to my door. That has not happened since. The order is left at the road the last three deliveries (regardless of instructions to UPS) in 95+ degree heat. The order has not arrived frozen three out of four times. Also, the Friday delivery is not made until very late on Friday affording no opportunity to call the company since they are closed by the time the order arrives.
