We had an outstanding experience working with Morris Cookbooks to publish our American Legion cookbook. From start to finish, the entire staff was knowledgeable, responsive and incredibly helpful. The staff is so patient and helpful when asking questions. The correspondence and mailing is quick and easy. They are very nice to work with and the quality of the cookbook is superb.
I would give a 5 star but for an issue with the combs that was bigger than needed to be and some of the teeth getting broken due to that. The comb was a half inch taller than the book itself, so when they got packed in the boxes for shipping, some of the teeth on the combs got broken. A comb that was flush with the height of the book or even packed better, there wouldn’t have been that issue. Mrs. Becky took care of the broken combs issue promptly and I appreciated that very much. The customer service staff was very helpful with any questions I had and was so nice which goes a long way with me. The finished cookbook looks great and everybody loves them. I am totally impressed with my new cookbook and how you handled every detail of my order! From the complete typing of my recipes, fillers, etc., to designing the cover with my picture on it, your work was excellent!! I also very much appreciated talking directly to a customer service representative every time I called in, giving me that personal touch, with special kudos to Tammy and Kelly, who were very helpful❣️ ... When I published my first cookbook with you in 2003, I was not totally aware of pricing on the extra features I wanted. Therefore, I ended up paying more for each book than I started with. This time, Tammy went over the additional item pricing with me, which I approved as we went through the order form. Great!! 🤗
All-in-all, it has been a wonderful experience for me to work with you again, and I will highly recommend your services to others! May you keep publishing cookbooks always as other companies simply fade into the sunset!!

Great Experience! Your site was easy to use, directions clear and concise. Process for entering recipes and editing was simple. Layouts options are great and varied. The only thing I would have liked is option to change or add a section, Healthy Choices. Very pleased with the finished results!
From questions as I was preparing recipes, through the confirmation of all of my design selections, and ending with replacement of books that were damaged (shipping issue, not a Morris Press issue)... Morris Press provided the very best customer support. This was our 2nd time using them, and they remain the best!
Overall great experience working with Morris Cookbooks. The finished product is a beautiful book and our primary customer base (garden club membership) has been very complementary. Two suggestions: offer a heavier stock of white pages. The only thing I don’t love about our finished book is the flimsy white paper. Second suggestion is in regard to typensave: it was not clear (at least to me) that the price estimator on the Morris Publishing site should not be used by Typenserve customers.

Morris Press Cookbooks has a price estimator that can price selections that are available when using our on-line program typensave. Morris Publishing is our sister company that offers different options for self-published books. I’m sorry if there was any confusion between the options available for these sister companies and their pricing. Thank you for the suggestions, we will take them into consideration.
I love that a real person answered the phone every time I called, and I was a frequent caller. Every time I talked to someone at Morris Press, they solved my problem with great patience, expertise, and kindness. I spoke to Tammy a lot. She was amazing. Becky, Holly and Jeannette were also very pleasant and always helpful. The cookbook turned out beautiful!
Morris Press was very easy to use. We used Typensave for our church cookbook. Most people used it easily. If there was a question, Cory was always quick to answer with a helpful answer. I would highly recommend them!
