Ms. Schwartz was very unprofessional in her texts and told me to get a mortgage elsewhere.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Incompetent, Immoral, Ignorant
This company did not even have the loan completed until A DAY AFTER CLOSING. I have never seen such utter disgusting incompetence in my life.
They have been nothing but problems since. An endless headache and countless hours of my life wasted on their malevolence. I had to seek refinancing just to get my loan out of their miserable hands.
Now, they charged me another payment AFTER PAYOFF!!!!! They did not answer/respond to my calls (recorded) and have had payment cancelation disabled for as long as I had the loan. Truly a disgusting, useless, immoral, garbage company filled with liars and cowards from top to bottom.
I URGE you NOT to use them under any circumstance. I would recommend seeking financing from behind a gas station dumpster before I would EVER recommend this company.
[For the record, I have the phone calls recorded, transactions documented, and screenshots to verify everything I have stated.]

Poor Staffing
I am adding an important update regarding my attempts to resolve this matter directly with New American Funding. On June 22, I spoke with the Assistant Vice President, Christian Rosales, who stated he would personally review my account and call me back by Friday, June 26. That call never happened.
Since then, I have made multiple attempts to reach him—calling repeatedly, leaving messages, and giving the company every opportunity to follow through. All of those attempts were ignored. This is not a simple oversight; it reflects very poor communication, avoidance of customer contact, and a level of negligence that is unacceptable for any lender, let alone one operating at a national scale.
When a company representative at the VP level makes a direct commitment to call back and then fails to do so—even after multiple attempts from the customer—it demonstrates a deeper breakdown in leadership, reliability, and internal processes. This mirrors the same pattern I experienced throughout my refinance: missed commitments, unanswered emails, repeated errors, and a complete lack of accountability.
At this point, New American Funding has had more than enough time and opportunity to address the mishandling of my file, and they have chosen not to. Their continued lack of follow‑through only reinforces every concern raised in my original review: disorganization, poor communication, unexplained changes to loan terms, and a disregard for the customer experience.

NAF is great! I had the opportunity to work with Kat. She made life so much easier with the docusign, explanations, and her excellent communication skills. As a single working mom, I admired her work ethic while managing her family. She worked all hours of the day to make sure my loan was in order. She was so easy to talk to and was clear and honest. I loved her friendly down-to-earth attitude. My initial lending process failed with a different lender in the underwriting stage so I was unsure how it would work out but, Kat was extremely supportive and helpful. She established rapport and built that trust-her professional work speaks for itself as the loan was a success.
