Got my first payout!
Was worried about it at first because my friends have been having some issues because of their trading styles and needing reviews, but mine is pretty traditional low risk trend trading.
And then I was worried when the kyc came at first and it was download the work documents to dropbox which felt sus tbh, but it’s a small company, then the veriff link came and that was fine.
Got paid in my PayPal a few hours later!! (Can’t account for days since I requested on Friday and expected the weekend wait)
Not super happy about the fees thing from PayPal with the way they pay, but since it’s 100% payout that’s ok. If you’re taking larger payouts above $1800, you’ll want to just do the Rise payments.
I DO NOT like the 5 tick scalping rule instead of 5-10 seconds hold, because sometimes I just want out at breakeven if my trade is failing. :/ but I think it’s based on a percentage that it happens, so far I’ve been alright. It took some getting used to though.
Overall they’ve been really good with myself and my trading group and we all use nexgen.
Will update if anything changes or gets even better. Looking forward to working together.

I opened an account with Nexgen, a company I hadn't heard of before. I’m not profitable yet, but I’m making steady, gradual progress. I have to say that Nexgen provides the right environment for improvement; I’ve been pleasantly surprised by their supportive approach and the advice they offer to help us grow in this field. I also appreciate their many promotions—such as account resets and significant discounts—which are a huge help, especially when you aren't profitable in the early stages. Finally, I was a bit apprehensive about my first payout—wondering if I’d actually get paid—but I was pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness and the speed of the payment. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’m making an exception here because I was initially apprehensive when signing up. The interface isn’t as fancy as other firms, you can’t trade with as many platforms, but I have to say… this firm is amazing! Top notch customer service, engaged leadership, and a genuine interest in supporting traders. Just received my first payout from them and I hope it’s the first of many!!! I want to share my honest experience with Nexgen ProTrader Funding.
My payout was initially rejected during an interview with their new Risk team. It was a stressful process. But I also want to be fair: the firm ultimately reviewed my case thoroughly, reached a fair resolution, and processed my payout. Throughout it, Cam was exceptional — professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful when things were difficult. He kept the process human and I'm grateful for his support. Credit where it's due.
I'll also offer one honest, constructive piece of feedback in the spirit of helping the platform improve. The most difficult part was that the review relied heavily on interviewing traders about their methods and judging whether explanations "aligned" with their execution. Every trader has a different style, and evaluating thousands of individual approaches subjectively is inherently inconsistent — a legitimate discretionary method can be hard to explain on the spot and still be entirely valid. My suggestion would be to define clear, published, objective risk rules and enforce them automatically and consistently, rather than assessing trade methods subjectively in interviews. Clear rules applied uniformly would protect the firm from bad actors while giving honest traders confidence they're being judged against a known standard.
Overall, I appreciate how this was resolved and the professionalism shown in getting there. With clearer, rule-based risk processes, I think the experience for legitimate traders would be excellent.

One of the best PropFirms in the business right now. Offering promo codes on evals (sometimes free resets) promo codes on activation fees too! Received my first payout within 2 business days and the team there is very communicative on Discord. Rules are bit tight, but I think in everyone's favor.

I’ve had a great experience with NexGen! This was my first time receiving such a big payout, and I’m extremely happy with the whole process. I purchased 3 accounts and was able to receive the maximum payout on all 3!

Nexgen with AMP doesn't work on tradingview desk top version. It's slow. Delayed entries, freeze up. This is the only prop firm that dose that. I have tried several times after speaking with them doing everything they say to do to fix the problem no luck. I can trade on my phone but that's inconvenient. I would not recommend them if you are a scalper and want to trade on your computer

Anita, it is a trader's responsibility to make sure that they have high-speed internet, keep their computer clean, and make sure that their trading tools are working. This is not Nexgen's responsibility. It's yours. 99.9% of all traders have no issues, so it's not an issue with Nexgen or TradingView. It's something on your computer. We have an awesome technical support department that will help you clean your computer if you need help. We also found that most laptops run at a minimum CPU speed of 5%. During large bursts of data, you will get a lag if your computer is running at 5%. Next time, make sure you're on a high-power plan as well.
Requested first payout(2x2500$), interview scheduled, then moved to live and 19,000$ profits forfeited. Although i dont agree with moving a trader to live before they have taken at least a decent amount of profits, my real issue is they dont yet have a live program, so its essentially a ban till/if they develop one. Why not keep traders in sim funded till live is ready if indeed it is coming? I liked them till they pulled this move and if they prove me wrong and either actually move me to live in the next few days, or allow me to trade my accounts and receive payouts till their live program is set up, then ill gladly change my review because thats my main issue with them. I have small gripes about having to use the buggy amp/cqg platform through tradingview, but thats minor. Spending thousands of dollars to get funded and then after first payout getting frozen out waiting for a live program that may never come...thats serious and a big red flag.

Richard, first of all, you are trading live with every prop firm you've ever been with, and yes, Nexgen needed to develop its live program, which is now complete. The account is open, and we will be onboarding everybody after August first. Yourself included. We look forward to seeing how well you do in a live environment with Nexgen. We think we have put together a very competitive plan that you will enjoy. And once that is up and running, maybe you can alter your review after you give feedback on the live cache program.
Best prop firm rules for me to date. Fast payout. I’ve had multiple payouts across several firms, and so far this is one of the best firms for me.

I am enjoying my experience with NexGen. I've taken two payouts so far. The rules are clear and staff are great at responding in their active Discord. If you are looking to try a new prop firm, I would recommend giving NexGen a try, particularly when they are running one of their amazing promotions that seem to come weekly (if not more often.) They have an assortment of account types to suit anyone's style and skill level.

Shame it’s 7 day cycle, instead of 3-5, but great company, took advantage of the free resets and 50% activation!! Will be loading up with accounts on the next free resets, very cheap for a funded account!

After taking my first payout after making 3600 bux i took 1500 of it and then was left with 2100 i lost 500 bux and they deactivated my account WILL NEVER buy or use NEXGEN AGAIN they make up stupid rules that are meant to screw you I DON"T EVER RECOMMEND THEM USE TOPSTEP OR LUCID WAY BETTER.

I had severe difficulties with one of their payout vendors and the Nexgen team went above and beyond to try and escalate a fix on my behalf, using back channels and executives to force a resolution. I received my first payout ever from a prop firm and I'm very excited. Nexgen is top-notch. I'm impressed with their futures accounts, their support is great, and they paid me really fast. I reached the payout limit on Friday afternoon, requested my payment, then did the ID check, signed documents later that Friday afternoon and I received my payment on Sunday afternoon, before the work week even began! I half-expected a delay of a week or so... But no, got the payment really fast. Very impressed and I highly recommend this prop firm to all futures traders.
