Sign up at your own risk. It is a secured card so you put your own money on the card to open it and start earning credit. If you miss a payment they deactivate your payment account so you can no long make payments from it. You either have to open a new account elsewhere, pay from another credit card, or not make your payment. If you don't make your payment they screw up your credit and keep your money that you put on the card. They are a scam company trying to steal your money. They are not flexible. I have missed payments with other financial institutions and still been able to use the same payment account to make payments. They are not flexible and hide behind the excuse "our system doesn't allow." That is not true, if they can disable the account, they can re-able it. They just do not want to so they can keep your money and try to get more. Whatever you do, do not be a human, make mistakes or ever need their help getting you through. Then they will send you notification you are behind and to make a payment to catch up. "I can't make a payment, you won't let me!"

Called Me a Liar--Not Good Service

During my divorce, "our" American Express Card was in my wife's name and she dropped me as a user. I needed a credit card (and a i needed to go from no credit to my 800 three years later--now). I got a card from Open Sky. My first bill included a $29 fee for late payment. They'd sent the bill to my old address and the post officce never got it to me. They could have said anything but the rep accused me of lying. They had my cash that I was borrowing against. Once they got the address things went well and at my first opportunity I cancelled the card and got my $500 deposit back in a few months. There are better secured credit cards.
