Opus is great for my channels. My channels have been elevated with the animation. Frank and Edward, customer service reps have been nothing but helpful when I do have issues. Opus is evolving so there have been past issues that have been resolved and they always make my account reset. I appreciate them very much. THANK YOU!

I Recommend Opus Clip to Every Content Creator

My YouTube channel had been inactive since 2023 because I wasn't sure what kind of content I wanted to create. In Nov 2025, I decided to start sharing my awareness journey through long-form videos. I gained a few subscribers, but growth was very slow. Then I found Opus Clip. Opus Clip helped me turn my long videos into shorts, and that made a huge difference. My YouTube channel grew from just a few subscribers to over 1,100 subscribers, and my TikTok account grew to almost 5,000 followers. The software is easy to use and saves me a lot of time. Instead of creating shorts from scratch, Opus Clip finds the best parts of my videos and turns them into clips that I can share on different platforms. What impressed me even more was their customer support. Every time I had a question or problem, the support team was there to help. One support agent, Ollie, deserves special recognition. No matter what issue I had, Ollie always stayed with it until it was resolved. That kind of support is hard to find these days. Opus Clip has played a big part in helping me grow my audience and bring my channel back to life. The product is great, the support is amazing, and the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend Opus Clip to anyone who creates content online. I am extremely happy with both the platform and the customer support team.

Very good for what it claim to do

Very good for what it claim to do. It will generate a lot of clips for you, the clips might not come out perfectly like youd like but you'll have many and what you do with them after is up to you.

Good concept, rough execution

OpusClip does one thing genuinely well: finding good clips from long videos. The AI clip detection is accurate most of the time and saves a real amount of manual scrubbing. That's where the praise ends for me. The app feels unfinished in too many places. Loading times are unreasonably long — not a connection or hardware issue on my end, just the app being slow. There are frequent bugs that interrupt the workflow and make it feel unstable. The AI B-roll generator is hit or miss: sometimes it produces decent images, but just as often it spits out something that looks like it was generated by a much older model. No consistency you can rely on. The built-in editor has obvious gaps. You can't hear audio while scrubbing — a basic feature in any video editor. Caption editing forces you to apply changes globally, so if you want to tweak a single caption without touching the rest, you're stuck. The overall editing experience feels clunky enough that I usually just export the clip and finish it in Premiere Pro, which defeats the point of having an integrated tool. OpusClip has a solid core idea and the clip extraction is genuinely useful, but the buggy performance, inconsistent AI output, and limited editor make it hard to rely on as an all-in-one tool at this price point. There's potential here — it just needs a lot of polish. Edit: Must drop my rating from 3/5 to 2/5 because the site has been crashing sometimes lately, or when I opened a clip in a project, it just glitched and didn't open the clip but moved me to the homepage.

At first OpusClip was very useful

At first OpusClip was very useful. The cuts were useful and I did not have to edit much at all. Eventually, I got back in front of the camera and then the cuts began focusing on me instead of showing what I was talking about on the vehicles I review. There is a way to fix this, but it takes time to re-fit the clip so that it looks appropriate. Additionally annoying AI voices are sometimes dubbed into the video and pictures are used that I did not put in the videos. At the end of the day, I am deeply frustrated with the direction. OpusClip has gone. The time it takes to fix everything and make the videos useful is not worth it. When my subscription has run out, I most certainly will not renew! I suggest you think long and hard before using OpusClip, as it is likely to create more work than it is worth compared to the time it should save.

Very helpful customer support team

I had intended to use OpusClip for only a month, but absent-mindedly missed out on cancelling my subscription. The customer support team Ollie & Jamaila were very helpful, and made it possible such that I could get a refund for my unused period up to 3 months. Very grateful for their help.

I want to share a horrific experience I had with Agent Opus. I was trying it out to create a video the progress of which I was very happy with. I was buying $14.95 worth of additional credit to my free trial version so that I could finish my video. On the payment page, after the final confirmation, an Icon spun, which is common on payment pages, and spun, and spun, and spun. A warning message said do not leave the page or it might screw things up, (again - a common occurrence paying on-line), Fearing problems, I left that tab open, and soon afterwards went to bed. Waking up the next morning it was still spinning, and I closed it and thought nothing more about it. A few days later my card (my primary card I use for subscriptions and similar reoccurring payments) started getting declined. I called my bank, and after investigation, about the exact time the icon started spinning. repeated attempted charges of $128 started hitting my account every 20 seconds. Their processing system realized something was wrong and blocked my account. So the bank concluded fraud, and cancelled my card. I had other cards and the back credited me all charges and sent me a new one. What a hassle having to track down all scheduled charges, and change my payment methods. Weeks later I'm still trying to recover completely. I contacted Opus, and while apologetic, their attitude was they would revere any charges that went through, so other than a perfunctory apology, the refused to take the total blame for the incident, and it seemed like "no harm, no foul" Seemingly having no comprehension of the hassles I went through, and the amount of distrust it engendered. After I expressed surprise at how little they seemed to take responsibility, they, "GET THIS", offered me a 20% discount if I bought an annual subscription.

It can really help in the process

The software is getting better month after month. I think the timing and edit of subtitles still need some improvements, but it works fine. Great its feature to clip long contents, follow the speaker and split the video vertically. They had this idea, to clip long video, very early in the AI staging new software. And the price is very honest. Great plause to their customer service assistance/help, they do listen and consider your point of view. I very like that.

Unethical ways of operating a business

Unethical ways of operating a business. Many users purchased the product because of the stated perks, but the company simply removed them without a valid reason. Don't waste your time and money on this product and company! You are better off using other solutions

This doesn't work

I've used many different ai based services and this one is a shocker. It cuts random and irrelevant clips. We've been back and forth with it and it is not even close to delivering. I never leave 1 star reviews, but am doing so as I've contacted support several times and no one responds.

This technology is amazing. I am technologically ignorant. This is so easy. The tech support or customer service is amazing. If you want to make sure it's this is the way to do it. I use a fraction of what it can do and the clips are absolutely amazing!!!!!! 10 or 20 stars is not enough!!!!
