What people say
Thank you very much for saying it's…
Thank you very much for saying it's free, letting me use it and fill a huge form, just at the end to tell me that I should pay.
Hi there! Sorry if any confusion incurred! If this is your very first document, you won't need to pay anything at all, actually. Please note that the first month (30 days since the date of registration, to be precise) is entirely on us, it is covered by the free trial period. All you need to do is register a personal account and log in (this is free and takes just a minute).
SCAMM SAYING ITS FREE UGH U HAVE TO LOG
SCAMM SAYING ITS FREE UGH U HAVE TO LOG in THEN PAY WTF SHITTY WEBISTE HOPE U SHUT DOWN
Sorry if any confusion! Log in is indeed required because pdfFiller is a cloud-based solution, it simple won't work without saving PDF edits in a private storage. Payment however is not mandatory at all. Please note that pdfFiller is offering a 30-day free trial period. That's the whole first month for free.
Not free
Not free, and hassles you for payments
Harrison hi! Our apologies if any confusion with the conditions! We never actually claimed to be a free solution. BUT we do have a 30-day free trial period. You probably saw an add for that? Please note this offer is available for all first-timers on our web site. This first month is entirely on us. Please give it a try, no obligations!
scam
scam, complete scam bastards
Very sorry to read this, Saif! Any chance you can provide more details on your experience with pdfFiller? What exactly seems confusing / not working as you've expected? We are here to listen and address your concerns! If you need help with subscription (upgrade, downgrade, refund, cancelation), please email [email protected]. Our agents (human ones!) are online 24/7, weekends included.
If it smells like a scam ...
Outrageous fees for a normally free endeavor. Sure, it's free for a week, or maybe a month; But then it's $39 - or is it $96 - PER MONTH!! Are you kidding me?? Just to work with PDF? And even to cancel your account with this not so amazing service is scammy. Make sure you read the fine print on each cancel page - WHICH WILL TAKE AT LEAST THREE CANCELLATION CLICKS. "Are you SURE you want to cancel?" YESSSSSSS! And I swear, if I still get charged after this con job... Nothing but crooks! *EDIT: omg THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT!! PREDATORY PRACTICES!! STAY AWAY!! And it was no fun contacting them to get the refund either! Multiple "But you didn't cancel" and "Yes, I DID!" and "But why do you want to cancel?" and "We have a special half price offer." And I swear, if they don't actually send the refund ...
Our apologies for the confusing experience with pdfFiller! Our free trial is seven days in a mobile app, and full month on the desktop, this part is correct. $96 is the cost of our ANNUAL plan, not monthly (totally agree with you here, it would have been way too much for one month). If you have further questions on the pricing logic and/or you would like to verify the subscription status (cancelled or live, and if live until what date), please email [email protected]. One of our agents will be with you ASAP. Thank you.
Great experience
this product was so easy to use
None this time
This is such a wonderful multi-purpose tool
I have been enjoying how this Multi-tool app has given me such capabilities in a variety of ways. And faxing has been of great help to me, in addition to the many ways that I've used the PDF editing, merging, etc. tools.
Forces you to buy their plan
Why cant the website tell me that I need to pay or start a trial plan before I start filling a form? I can't download a form that I have filled out? Downloading a filled PDF does not seem like an innovative feature that requires a credit card.
Sorry if any confusion, Akash! pdfFiller is a cloud-based solution (each user has a personal cloud space/storage which requires login and password). So yes, account creation must be the very first step, before editing, downloading or anything else. Please note that our free trial period covers full 30 days, no hidden payments, frozen amounts on your account or any other tricks. All features, including download, are available during the free trial without any limitations.

Javid hi! What went wrong / was not working as expected? Please do tell us more. Alternatively, you can reach out to us at [email protected]. Thank you!
Merge PPT and Download For Free - SCAM
where i will like to see that?
Marc hi! Yes, this is totally doable in pdfFiller, correct. Apologies if the experience was confusing! Please log in and use the support chat live option, one of our agents will assist you. If email is more convenient for you, please email [email protected]. Thank you.
False advertisement and email scam
Their Google ad states the service is free but it's not. They wait until you have filled out a full document with 400 fields on it to inform you that the service is in-fact paid. When you decline the service due to the hidden fee they keep your email address to spam you despite not ever signing up and declining their service.
Hello, our apologies for any confusion with the ad! We do not have a free plan (and never had), but we do offer a free trial period of 30 days. Our ads usually emphasize on that (though it's really hard to say here which of the ads you actually saw, sorry). To activate the free trial, you'd need to register a personal account first (this is also free and takes just one minute). Re the emails: if you still receive those, you can use the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of the emails. Or please email [email protected] requesting the same, we can do that manually too.
good fast easy
It is intuitive
It is intuitive. The use for Bates Numbering, water marks. It is a great product.
Easy to use!
I used to use Docusign but this program is a lot easier to use!
Glad to hear that and happy to be of help with your business! (We have quite a lot of people switching from this solution, to be honest, so yeah, welcome to the club! :) )
Do not use..
Do not use... they are a scam... they take money off you on the 'free' trial and then if you complain, and only if you complain, do they say it takes 5-7 days to return to you... yet it took them less than a second to extract it from my account. Unacceptable and condescending customer service
Our apologies if any confusion, Mark! We just sent you an internal request for more information. Please let us know your email (the one which was your login in our system), we'll investigate and get back to you ASAP. At this point, before seeing the personal details, we can only state the following, preliminary: the ONLY reason why you could get charged during the first month (when free trial is normally on) is when the system sees you as a returning customer (you have used the free trial option earlier, even if it was several years ago, still counts as returning customer). And also, 5-7 days is the time during which the refund reaches your account. Do you mean this? We understand this is not optimal but this timing mostly depends on banks and payment processors, this is what they provide as their standard reply. Sorry, but we really can't influence this timing. Our Support is actually working 24/7 and usually replies within couple hours maximum. It is never a matter of days, we assure you.
