What people say

Fantastic,

Fantastic, Had been using Adobe PDF, but the software is WAY too bloated with annoying popups trying to push you to subscribe and basic functions are locked behind paywalls not to mention the frequent freezes and locks up. Glad I've made the switch to PDFGear, so far so good!

Great App

I had trouble with my company computer when i was injured and at home needed a PDF Form filler and signature. Searched for a while and luckily found this. Was a bit apprehensive at first but proved to be extremely simple and capable. I have kept the app on my home computer and is now set as my default. Thanks guys this is great for home use and believe Adobe at my workplace is great but for an occasional to moderate user is a bit of overkill. Read the one star ratings just for kicks, seems some people are not happy unless they are unhappy, I cant fault this yet and if i find something I am certain you will be there too help. Have a great day, cheers for now. Jono

Do not use! Decent for one simple signature, don't complete a full form or longer with it.

Do not use for anything other than one signature. Sick of being pay walled by other companies so I tried PDFgear, it is one of the most glitchy, slow loading, time consuming fill and sign softwares I've ever used. What could have taken me 1-2 hours to complete has taken me over 4+ hours. Will never use again, no wonder it's free.

We're really sorry that PDFgear made your work take so much longer than expected. Could you let us know whether you're using Windows, Mac, or mobile, and which parts of the filling process were slow or glitchy? We'd like to look into this and see what we can improve.

First page of the PDF to word convertor…

First page of the PDF to word convertor works well after first page all the pages are pictures, so no use to scan it to word as you cannot edit it.

Sorry about the trouble! It sounds like your PDF may contain scanned pages, which are stored as images rather than editable text. Please try the Advanced Mode in our free online PDF to Word converter: https://www.pdfgear.com/pdf-to-word/. It uses OCR to recognize text in scanned pages and convert it into editable Word content. Hope this helps!

So far, so good !

So far, so good! My (insert major pdf brand name here) stopped working so I needed a replacement. PDFGear was recommended by the internet and indeed, seems brilliant! Easy to use, intuitive menu design, and so far it has all the functions I need on a weekly basis as a private man. thanks ! I do hope it really is free...

Great if it works

Great if it works. Incompatible with Mfiles storage system when trying to add a PDF from it into an existing PDF. Files crash more times than I care to count, typically when trying to save after adding a PDF. Need to consistently hit the save button or risk losing your work if you make too many changes in between saves. No drag and drop available for adding in documents. Can't add more than 1 image at a time. What would really improve this application for me is being able to add multiple images and automatically converting them into PDFs so there wouldn't be a need to stretch the image to fill the whole page.
