Great platform for online tutors

I've had a very positive experience with Preply as a tutor. The platform is convenient and easy to use, and it provides a great opportunity to connect with students from different countries. I especially appreciate the flexibility to manage my own schedule and organize lessons in a way that works for both me and my students. The support team has also been helpful whenever I've had questions. Overall, Preply is a great platform for online teaching, professional development, and connecting with students from around the world. I'm happy to be part of the Preply community.

To add to a previous review. An avoidant reply from a company with a criteria that is not transparent. All the isms at play here. What I teach is not specific as outlined below. The public can see what you represent as a teaching platform! My experience includes: 30 years experience I teach primary maths and Englishand all other subjects at this level, Ks1 and ks2 sats, I teach special educational needs: ages 5 to adult, I have experience in teaching students with adhd and students who are dyslexic, I teach alternative provision students, I teach disengaged students, I teach functional skills, I teach maths and biology 11 to 18 I teach english as an additional language. I have proven experience of helping students with ucas entry into medicine,Dentistry and Pharmacy etc, Now that is my proven experience reflected on my cv and backed by referees. You say what I teach is over subscribed and to 'narrow'! Please be careful in registering with this company. Definitely racism and ageism at play here. My face does not fit but young white people with one dimensional skills and experience do fit.

Preply is really easy to use (pay-book-connect) and when I had a problem, I easily connected through the app to a (in person) agent and they sort out my issue very fast

Best app I ever found........

As a new tutor I find Preply to be the most trustworthy app for tutors and students as well. No matter what your problems are, they resolve it real quick and is very convenient. Also I would like to share my experience as a tutor that this platform is super convenient and easy to use and also to gear up learning.

PREPLY Professional tutors?

I finally paid for a trial lesson with what was supposed to be a professional and super tutor and then. I set my alarms and wake up for my lesson to get a message that I can't contact the tutor. My only contact was to ask how was the lesson going to take place. I usually study with a language school and it's on Zoom. I didn't know that there was an in app interface. Anyway the message read that for personal reasons SOYOUNG M would not be able to do my lessons. Now how can I not take this personal. I've never met and I ask one question and I'm banished. I'm not sure of it's the language or the platform. I was able to transfer my money to a different tutor, but advanced notice would have been appreciated. In my book a last minute cancelations should a student should be allowed to leave a review. I don't consider her behavior professional and the fact that I wasn't permitted to leave a review makes me suspect of the reviews left in the platform for the tutors.

Eliot was outstanding! He helped me resolve an issue with an accidentally canceled lesson and credited the money back to my balance, saving me from losing both the money and the lesson. I truly appreciate his help! Nadine

Refund

When I cancelled a lesson before 12 hours automatically gave me as a credit/blance. But the website says can refund. I asked custmer centre and they refunded me. And their responce was so quick. I was happy about it. And near future i will re book a lesson again.

My experience of this app is very positive. My tutor is fantastic. There are so many to choose from depending on what your goals are. I had to contact Preply regarding missing some lessons due to being in hospital. Kristel from Customer service was quick to respond and resolve the issue. 5 stars

Great platform where you can find trusted native speakers who can properly introduce you to the language you're interested in. Worth checking several options before sticking to one particular tutor
