Preply is a great learning app. I found the perfect tutorial on the second trial. It’s easy to set and change your schedule—very flexible. My tutor is amazing. He makes learning Spanish fun and interesting. I’m making good progress. And the price/value is amazing.

Preply Kept sending me emails to register and update emails to complete registration. When I did, they rejected me. I clearly did not fit their image! I am an asian born and bred in England and have taught for 30 years and during ofsted have been deemed to be outstanding in my teaching. I have qts status, a degree, a masters in Education and other diplomas. Disgusted at the prejudiced attitudes. It racism and/or ageism. No clear explanation given and the email was contradictory. So there is no room for someone like me with these qualifications, experience and skills yet there are female, young, white teachers on there with barely any experience. What a terrible platform. An avoidance reply of a company with a criteria that is not transparent. All the isms at play here. What I teach is not specific to prove my point so the public can see what you represent as a platform 30 years experience I teach primary maths and English and all other subjects, Ks1 and ks2 sats, I teach special educational needs: ages 5 to adult, I have experience in teaching students with adhd and students who are dyslexic, I teach alternative provision students, I teach disengaged students, I teach functional skills, I teach maths and biology 11 to 18 I teach english as an additional language. I have proven experience of helping students with ucas entry into medicine,Dentistry and Pharmacy etc, Now that is my proven experience reflected on my cv and backed by referees. You say what I teach is over subscribed and to narrow. Total joke!! Please be careful in registering with this company. Definitely racism and ageism at play here. My face does not fit but young white people with one dimensional skills and experience do fit.

The customer service was great and it was easy to have my request sorted out easily. The preply application has not had any technical issues that prevented me from accessing the classroom for lessons with my students.
