Outstanding customer service
We had an issue with the light not working under the umbrella. Reached out to customer service for information on how to resolve the problem. We went through several troubleshooting steps and the issue was not resolved. The only thing left was the small battery unit was not functioning properly. They offered to replace it for free which they did. However, I needed it within 3 days in order for it to work when I had important guests coming over. Unexpectedly, they overnighted the battery unit to me. No cost. We plugged it in and it worked. In my view, that is going above and beyond to satisfy a client. Thank you Purple Leaf for coming through for us.

A nice gazebo but challenging at times to assemble
So far it appears to be a quality product for the price that is described accurately on the Purple Leaf website.
I was impressed with customer service follow-ups after my purchase to assure timely delivery and assembly process.
The directions/ diagrams could’ve been better and it took much longer to assemble than indicated. Power tools are helpful and minor adjustments to the bendable/ pliable aluminum parts was necessary.

Great product and excellent customer service! Received my umbrella and base within days of each other. Pretty simple assembly, just need a little patience loading sand in the base. Instructions were easy to understand and, in most instances, the assembly was easy. Only once in assembling the pergola did I have to redo my step. The shade it provides was much needed. The product looks just as described.

All the boxes arrived within a week of each other with the only damage being in a few louvers which were easy to bend back into shape. Everything was packaged very well in thick cardboard with corner protectors and labeled in the order that its constructed in. It was straight forward to assemble with clear instructions and photos, I was able to figure out assembly by myself with 2x4 deadmen for support. Immediately after the first use we enjoyed our patio for the first time in the shade since we lost all of our trees in the backyard. It creates such a nice outdoor space to use any time of day. The one thing I wish I would have noticed before I started assembly was the post drains all face the same direction out of the box, this means one drains toward the house, had I realized I would have rotated the top pieces accordingly, but I never confirmed this was actually possible.

I ordered 4 barstools for our tiki bar but ordered the wrong height. I contacted Purple Leaf through Amazon and Amazon said it would cost around $200 to return them. I reached out directly to purple leaf and they asked if I would be willing to accept two boxes of barstools that were returned by another customer that had not been used. In turn, Purple Leaf said I could keep the original stools and give them away as a gift or whatever I would like to do with them. I just received the correct stools and they were in perfect condition!!!!! I highly recommend the company and there products!

Great customer service
Great customer service when I ended up with a duplicate base. The products are shipped securely and assemble easily.
Updated review- customer support got back to me and guided me through how to repair the table. Although this isn’t what most would expect, I appreciate that I was able to easily repair the table and prevent a product from going into the trash. The repair was simple to do and table is good as new.
I’ve had the patio table around 6 months and one of the panels is already peeling away from the base. I’ve emailed customer service regarding a warranty claim and heard nothing back. Really like the table but the customer service is terrible.

Don't Pay for Assembly Help!
I ordered a large patio table with 8 chairs, to be delivered and put together with the additional Assembly Help offered on the purple leaf website. It cost $750 because they charge per item, and I had 9 items, plus trash take away. Extremely expensive, but I knew I needed it assembled and usable ASAP, and I wouldn't be able to get to it, so I paid the extra money for it. It ended up being delivered nearly 10 days early, so I had to store it somewhere, but then when the assembly guy showed up, the table box had been damaged and the table inside the box was also damaged, and not usable. The assembly guy put together all the chairs and cleared away all the trash as I paid for, but when I contacted the company about the damaged table not being able to be set up, they basically said "too bad, you agreed to our terms of service and we are not responsible for broken or damaged items. it's the customer's responsibility to provide non-damaged items to assemble". They charge another $195 to come out again to assemble the new table which is on it's way, I believe, but that means I will have paid nearly $1000 to have a table and 8 chairs assembled, over 2 appointments. So, $750 went towards a guy opening boxes, assembling 8 chairs and throwing away the trash, and i've got 8 assembled chairs and a broken table. Purple Leaf will have nothing to do with this aside from sending out the replacement table and has told me to get rid of the broken table after I inquired who would pick it up. Assembly Help (Dan) insists it's not his problem, but is happy to cut the additional trip fee down to $150 for me considering the circumstances. (Seriously? So ridiculous, and horrible serivce.) I'm embarrassed I paid this amount, but even more upset that I didn't get the service. DON"T PAY THE EXTRA $$$ FOR ASSEMBLY HELP!!!
The only negative is that it’s difficult to find an installer. When we did, however, said installer raved about how well the boxes were organized and packed. It didn’t take 2 men long to put it together!

I have been very impressed with the whole experience with selecting, buying and the execellent customer support. I was concerned buying an umbrella online with out seeing them in a store. However the price and the online reviews convinced me. I purchased a 10x10 cantilever umbrella to be able to tilt to the setting sun and provide more shade. The quality of the the umbrella is great. I had purchased the umbrella in November (because of a sale) and I did not unpack and assemble til May. I did have questions about the base about sand and water to fill with and i had ordered the smaller cover by accident. All email questions were answered in a day! Great company, products and support! I highly recommend their products.
