Pergola + Roller Blinds = Outdoor Enjoyment
After putting in a paver patio, we put up a Purple Leaf louvered pergola. The patio and the pergola have greatly increased our home value and has added to the enjoyment of our outdoor space. To enhance it even more, we added roller blinds to 2 sides to block out the glare of the sun when it is low in the sky. The pergola and the blinds were both easy to put together. We are ecstatic with the result.

I did a lot of research while trying to find the right umbrella for our pool. I came to the conclusion that Purple Leaf had the best value for an 11’ square 360 cantilever umbrella. We received the water fillable base and umbrella within a week. Quality build! The customer service team, however, gets my high praise for helping me recover from my own mistake. We’d had our new umbrella for about 2 weeks. We left the umbrella up after a great pool day on the 4th of July - and a quick moving storm caught us off guard and literally flipped the umbrella arms up and blew it over, damaging our fence. The CS team helped me assess whether it was repairable- and unfortunately the parts costs were going to exceed replacement. They then offered a generous rebate on top of the already nice sale price and got me my replacement promptly. Good product - EXCELLENT customer service care.

The packages arrived in very good shape. All pieces were very well marked. The instructions were well explained except for how to put the bracing bracket onto the post! Need better clarification!

Like the quality of the product. Assembly instructions could have a better illustration showing the orientation of the two top side beams in relationship to the two top end beams.

Going beyond Sales
My story begins in 2024 when I purchased a new Purple Leaf 11 Ft Round umbrella through Amazon thinking I could use my then present base to set it up, future issue when finally assembling it proved that was a bad assumption on my part.
Due to family medical issues I never got around to setting up the umbrella until July of 2026, that's when my bad assumption would come to fruition. I found out that my cross bars of my old base would not work with the new Purple Leaf umbrella so I ordered a new base directly from Purple Leaf, however, I soon discovered that it did not come with the support cross bars.
It was at this point I attempted to contact Purple Leaf only to find out I could not call them direct and email was the only means of contacting customer support about issues. I must admit I was not thrilled by this but I soon found out that this process worked quite nicely. I explained my situation an even though I purchased the umbrella though Amazon and the new base through them they were very helpful via emails and sent me a link to Amazon website for the correct base to purchased. I then ran into a few other issues an again they were very helpful in resolving those issues. On top of all this they allowed me to return the incorrect base I had ordered through their website by sending a return barcode so I could receive a refund to my account.
All in all this was surprisingly a very pleasant experience working with Purple Leaf to resolve the assembly issues I had even though they were of my own doing, I greatly appreciate their understanding and help.
