I sent $124 through Remitly
I sent $124 through Remitly, but $1,200 was deducted from my bank account instead. Customer support acknowledged it was a system error and assured me the funds would be returned within five minutes. When that did not happen, I was later told the refund would take 24–48 hours due to an investigation. Shortly afterward, my Remitly account was closed, preventing me from logging in or tracking my case. I have reported the unauthorized withdrawal to my bank, which has opened an investigation. This experience has been extremely stressful, and based on how this issue has been handled, I cannot recommend Remitly.

Transfer No : R20683 323 255 It showed transaction completed but the funds haven't been received. It's been a week of back and forth with this company and they're not giving a clear explanation on why this is happening.

Sending money could have been reliably quick if not for a little hustle. Remitly has to review my money transfer request every single time even though they have always confirmed the approval of my previous remittances for the same recipient.

I have been using this service for more…
I have been using this service for more than 10 years. Almost every time I make a transfer, I'm asked to provide my bank statement, personal ID, passport, selfe id and card details again etc... It has become very frustrating. I feel that I am being treated differently, possibly because of my name, although I cannot be certain. If that is the case, it is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. I would suggest using another money transfer service instead.
