I am extremely disappointed with my…
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Remitly. I sent money to Brazil, but the app processed the exact same transaction twice, causing duplicate transfers. When I contacted customer support, instead of investigating or taking responsibility for the apparent system error, I was told that I was on my own and would need to contact the recipient myself to recover the duplicate payment. This is unacceptable. Customers should not have to resolve issues caused by a company’s system. I expected Remitly to investigate the duplicate transaction and assist in recovering the funds, but no meaningful support was provided. I hope Remitly takes responsibility for errors like this and improves both its platform and customer service so other customers do not experience the same problem.
