My coach is Brett Lowrey and right away we had a good connection! It’s not often to find that in a coach/therapist/counselor! As we are both veterans, Brett and I “speak the same language” when it comes to things, and he has an innate knowledge of what would work for me as a vet during my recovery and subsequent maintenance of sobriety. Everyone at RIA Health has been amazing and I am more than farther along in reaching my goal of abstinence than I thought I would be. I’ve had the opportunity to attend inpatient programs but this has been the most effective path for me and I would not change it at all! I’m thankful for RIA Health and especially thankful for Brett Lowrey! 10 out of 10 Stars all the way!
Fantastic people that don’t judge and are really invested in the people they serve
I can’t recommend Brett Lowrey at Ria Health highly enough. When I started the program in April, I was struggling with binge drinking. I wasn’t looking for judgment—I was looking for someone who could help me understand my habits, give me practical tools, and support me while I made real changes. Brett has been exactly that person. With his coaching, combined with naltrexone, I haven’t had a single hangover since starting the program. That’s something I honestly wasn’t sure was possible a few months ago. Brett has a way of making you feel heard without ever making you feel ashamed. He’s encouraging, insightful, and knows when to challenge you and when to simply listen. He helps you focus on progress instead of perfection, which made all the difference for me. If you’re someone who appreciates a coach who is positive, adaptable, genuinely invested in your success, and able to meet you where you are, Brett is exceptional. If you’re considering Ria Health, I hope you’re lucky enough to work with Brett. He’s had a meaningful impact on my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for his guidance.
Gave this a try after multiple failures! Would highly recommend. The medication they suggested changed my life!!Kristen is the best therapist I’ve had!!!
Thank you so much for your input and we here at Ria Health are thrilled that we were able to help you reach your goals and be a pathway for your success with our bespoke treatment. Your input is so appreciated and will be relayed to Kristen directly.
Everything thing is made very clear and all the people I have talked with have been both professional and personable.
Terrible experience here. I came to them looking for help. I had struggled for years with alcoholism and thankfully quick cold turkey a few days before showing up to Ria Health. Once I got an appointment they were pushing various medications on me and I declined. I was willing to stay in the program, continue coaching and continued to not drink. They would not approve my medical leave from work that I took to get straight, because I didn't show up sick enough. This is another big online pharmacy.... if you aren't taking medication they punish you. Buyer beware, they are not out for your welll being.
Hi Ryan, thank you for sharing this, and congratulations on the progress you've made — quitting drinking is genuinely hard, and staying committed to it matters more than anything else. We're sorry the experience didn't feel like a good fit for you. Ria Health's program is built around medication-assisted treatment (FDA-approved options like naltrexone, acamprosate, and gabapentin) alongside coaching, because the research shows this combination gives people the best odds at lasting recovery. That said, treatment should always feel like a partnership, and no one should feel pressured into a specific medication. We want every member to feel heard when they raise a preference like this. On medical leave documentation, our providers follow standard clinical guidelines to determine what a leave letter requires, and we know that can be frustrating when it doesn't match what you were hoping for. We'd genuinely like to understand what happened in your case and see if there's anything we can do. If you're open to it, please reach out to us directly at 877-908-3840 so we can look into this properly. We wish you continued strength in your recovery.
Michael and Neti have done an amazing job. Listing to my real life situations and how to handle them. Also Michael will share YouTube videos on different situations I may encounter on this journey
My recovery started with 80 days of rehab followed by over two years with Ria. My goal was to completely stop drinking and soon I will be three years sober. Ria provided the coaching, medication, and support that I needed and it was all covered by my insurance. I’m still on my recovery journey but I feel better, my doctor is thrilled how my body has healed and my marriage is on solid ground again. My life is SO much better and Ria contributed to my ongoing success.
Michael is encouraging and engaging and comes up with suggestions.
My counseling session have been a tremendous help in all aspects of my life. Sarrika Chauhan has sound advice and offers guidance allowing me to navigate my sobriety.
Sarrika is phenomenal as a counselor. Her guidance and knowledge are helping me to take control over what I thought I couldn't control, and her positive, empathetic outlook make me look forward to our sessions.
The experience with Ria Health has been great so far. The teamwork with the coach Michael Grof and the medical professional, Guylaine Dunac is unique and has been working well for me personally. I have tried other routes to control my drinking, but this has proven the most effective. Thank you!
RIA changed my life, it was a fantastic program. I had a lot of doubts because drinking was involved in my life but genuinely this program will help you change. The coaching and medication approach is fantastic. It opens your eyes and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to reduce their drinking.
The coaching element of Ria Health makes the entire program worth it for me. My coach -Bobby Uppal- is kind and considerate while helping me to set realistic and measuable goals for my treatment. I strongly recommend him to anyone in the program (especially to new enrollees).
The support has been amazing from high to low points in my journey. Michael and Ben have seen me through it all. I don't know where I would be without this program and support system
I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to re-adjust their drinking habits. Been in it 6 months and I’m very happy I did it. Lots of positive support. Moderation was my goal but they also support abstinence. Some programs are filled with rooms of sad people, where if you mess up, you’re a failure and start over. This is not that. I had online group sessions, a 1:1 coach, nurse, and MD. The staff are very nice. They also helped me find trauma therapy immediately. I’m now completing both. Medication can be extended long term or as needed or none. I plan to keep some around as-needed. Naltrexone really helped me but ya gotta want to do it and commit. The 2x daily breathalyzer graph has been motivating for me. Start it now before you make a regrettable mistake like I did.
Thank you for sharing this — and congratulations on six months. You did the work, and it shows. We love that you called out the moderation option, that flexibility matters, and so does meeting people where they are. Wishing you continued success on your terms. Best! The Ria Team
