Great Experience Overall

I’ve been to the store, completed the paperwork, started the DROS and am in the 10 day period. Process was great. Online order after email notification of new stock. Online appointment system is great and the click option to adjust the time worked well. Store experience also great as I walked in and was helped immediately by staff. I was prepared with all the correct documents, so a quick process was completed in less than 20 minutes. Staff was great, courteous and knowledgeable. I’ve bought several at the Fountain Valley store and always a good experience and value.

Take Down Lever Discoloration

There was some discoloration on the take down lever which lead me to believe there were problems with the SIG even though it was new. Inspection and disassembly passed at the FFL but I’m having problems with the take down lever once I got it home. If you wiggle the recoil pin it disassembles but can tell there where a lot of hands on this unit during receiving and inspection at the retailer. Now, if I have any issues I have to pay to send it to SIG. Once I accepted the FFL transfer the responsibility was transferred to me from the retailer.
