I only giving 4 stars cause they process my order two weeks later and right on the beginning of the New Lunar Year. Causing a delay on shipping. Still awaiting for item.
I do not recommend ordering direct from Roban Model.
I placed my order on Jan 5th for RC helicopter 800 EC-130 stator set and nothing from the company, today is 19 Jan. I sent an email to sales.at.robanmodel.com on 12 Jan to check on the status of the order and have not received any reply. Actually, any time I have tried to reach them, no reply! The order only shows confirmed and they have a message on their website that they are now out for Chinese New Year until Feb 13. So I guess I am going to have to wait another month to hear anything back. So far, an absolutely bad experience with ordering direct from Roban Model. If something changes I will be sure to update this review, but right now the best I can give is 1 star and that is being generous. I can not recommend ordering direct from Roban currently. If anybody from Roban Model would like to contact me concerning my order that would be great. Update 2 Feb 25, I did get a tracking number the day after I filed the PP non-responsive claim and it showed up about about 10 days later. I have read the reply from Roban Limited and if that is indeed the case that they are made by hand and takes 14 days to produce, then put that in your item description! Additionally, it would be great if your contact email actually resulted in communication, I still have never got a reply from your contact email and it seems like the case for many other leaving reviews. I just find it highly coincidental that nothing happened until I filed the PP claim! I updated to two stars, since I got the product, But communication and lead time needs to get better and if a product takes 14 to produce, then put that in your item description! Like I said I love your product, but customer service and communication is the worst I have ever seen.

The part had to be made in the paint scheme of the product that the client already owned. This took 14 days, and the item was send out by economic airmail - not after the Chinese new year, but well before. Client received the part already, also got the tracking information the day it was available. Please have in mind that these parts are hand made and since we carry many different paint schemes, it takes a while to make them. Its different for mechanical spare parts, those are in stock and can be shipped within a few day.

Roban has a great selection of 700-800 scale helicopters that are affordable, yet the quality is good. I have built two and continue to enjoy them both. The paint I have found to be excellent. There have been some parts issues that I chose to change but generally everything fit well. The manuals are not the greatest and sometimes refer to parts not in the kit.

The answer questions that I have on their products. And troubleshoots any problem I have with my account. The only thing that I might have a problem with is the time they respond to my emails. I know they get busy and they do get back with me eventually.
