Roomies is a great service!
Roomies application provides all the necessary features needed to effectively find a Roomie! 1. Roomies overall application system layout is simple, clean, intuitive, and easy to use. 2. Roomies messaging system is ESPECIALLY helpful for directly reaching and communicating with potential Roomies. Messaging system is easy to use with the list of messages being readily accessible. 3. Identity verification, Background check, (and I assume though we did not use the credit check) were quick and easy to use and provide additional credibility. 4. Roomies notifications are easy to follow up on 5. Roomies room listing form is attractive and easy to use. 6. Roomies social media verification system easily provides extra credibility. 7. Roomies "shortlist" (favorites) feature is easy to use and helpful for shortlisting higher probability prospects. 8. Roomies URLs for a given room are easily accessible and helpful for communications. 9. Roomies is a great value for the money.

I really have just found you guys (a month 1/2), but I did receive interest. I'm advertising, looking too far ahead, so I paused my account, looking to come back.

Good selection
There was a good amount of rooms available to choose from in my budget range. I appreciated the emailed updates on newly added rooms. I did find a few that told me their room was taken when I tried to schedule a tour. However, weeks later they had not deactivated their listing. That was disappointing but that's the world we live in.

Amazing Renter
Rolando and his wife Michelle were so amazing. Moments after viewing their property and communicating with h them that i’d love to take their place, he invited me over to their Independence Day celebration they were planning to have at the house, even before i had sent him the security deposit or the rent yet. That made me believe he’s an absolutely outstanding person. I would recommend his listing to more people if they were interested

It makes it more personal
Roomies.ca is a helpful tool in finding a home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due multiple bad experiences with outright scammers and not nice people. If I could offer a suggestion to Roomies to the services better for all. Require poster verification as mandatory to help minimize the fraudsters and make it hopefully easier to hold them accountable if possible

Better than Marketplace
Better than Marketplace, less noise, more serious people. I have found almost all my roommates through roomies. The chat makes it easier to interact with individuals and the experience is being more in contact with actual people interested compared to marketplace where usually posts and comments get lost with all the spam.
