All is smooth unless you need to claim for an incident. they find all kinds of excuses to not refund, asking for documents hospital cannot produce, or are totally out of the scope. update: after quite long time, I got refund, so i've to update my review with a better score. a bit hard but they were good.

Look, filing insurance claims while running around between vlog locations is usually my least favorite thing to do. But when I had to submit a medical claim recently, SafetyWing processed it without making me fill out a massive 10-page history form, and the payout hit my checking account within a couple of days. The app interface can feel a bit sluggish on slow airport Wi-Fi, to be fair. Still, for fast support and zero paperwork headaches, it definitely gets the job done.

I’ve had Safety Wing travel and medical insurance for almost two years as I travel around the world. You never know how good a medical policy is until you need it and file a claim. I filed a medical claim recently and within four days it was approved and in another 48 hours the money was in my checking account. I was very happy with the quick approval and payment. Highly recommend them!
